Right in the heart of Amanohashidate town, this traditional hotel has it all. This is our first time staying in a traditional Japanese hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hosts are very kind and very helpful, the rooms are spacious, everything is provided to get to the Onsen. The women's Onsen are only indoors, but I went there in the afternoon and I was alone, it was very pleasant. The view from the hotel room is incredible (we paid for a room with a view and didn't regret it)The breakfast is plentiful, although not everything was to our taste (our European palate is not used to so much fish in the morning), it was very well prepared and the view is great.

Although it has a compact structure, it is a relaxing inn that befits one of Japan's three most scenic spots. At the time of check-in, they gave us a quick guide to the trivial information about Amanohashidate and tourist spots in the area. From your room window, you can see the Kaisen Bridge right in front of you, and you can enjoy the view during your stay.Dinner was a Japanese course with a bit of Western flair, and everything from the sashimi to the hot pot dishes was delicious. The public bath was small, and the open-air bath was blindfolded so you couldn't see the view, but the water was good.Although it was only one night, the scenery and accommodation were wonderful and it was a memorable trip.

Amazing traditional stay, extremely friendly staff, extravagant Japanese cuisine with amazing location 1 minute from the beachThis is a very tradition hotel and western tourist might be slightly confused about rules and customs. But don't worry the staff is there to help. There's a morning coffee time as you do not get served coffee during breakfast since the Japanese drink tea.The dinner is a set menu that changes every day. Sometimes we had to leave things because they are very unusual to the western taste, such as sashimi in the morning. However overall the food was like a 5 star restaurant course every single day with fresh seafood, soups, handcrafted starters and desserts.

I took a photo outside the window of my third-floor apartment, "Hamataru".This is my second stay at this hotel after many years.Duiqiaolou is a warm and exquisite hot spring hotel. It has historical architecture and moderate modern equipment that does not ruin the Japanese living experience. The bathroom in the room is used for simple cleaning, and there are indoor and outdoor bathhouses for bathing. The location is very good for sightseeing or station distance. And the night is quiet. She is clean and tidy, yet full of humanity and vitality. For breakfast, you can taste local specialties, fish paste products or dried fish overnight.Additional purchases and reservations for her dinner are recommended, please communicate in advance a few days before arrival. Appetizers always make me feel the season. There is a person behind the scenes who is proficient in various tofu dishes. The taste and changes amazed my father and I who stayed for 2 nights. The employees are very enthusiastic and professional, and they care about us silently. Their mantra is "Great". When I visited this time, the smile of the same female general last time was unforgettable for me. Please take care of them.

It was a very kind accommodation. There were a lot of people passing by on the road in front of it, and it felt like it was only for pedestrians, so the road to the parking lot was a bit nerve-wracking, but I also liked the atmosphere on the walk back from the parking lot. The person who guided us around was very friendly and talked to us a lot, so we had a great time. The food was delicious, and although the hot spring was a little small, I wasn't sharing it with other guests, so I was lucky to have a luxurious private bath.
