Mikuk Cottages Canggu

The room smelled musty and the mattress was dead, you sink into it abnormally. Apart from that, pleasant welcome, nice well-maintained place (exterior) and good location

The stay at Mikuk Cottages Canggu was really great. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned and completely sufficient. The staff was very friendly. Price and performance ratio unbeatable!

Highly recommend, beautiful area a close walk to bars restaurants and the beach, clean and gorgeous pool.

My partner and I really enjoyed Mikuk Cottages. It's small, peaceful but still right there in the heart of Canggu. The only thing I could criticise is that the breakfast is very limited. It would be nice to see more options suitable for vegans. We will definitely return to Mikuk though, so far it's my favourite place to stay in Canggu.

Love this hotel - beautiful pool, gardens, rooms, everything ! Everything is spotless and well designed. The staff are lovely and the food is good and everything you need is catered for. Highly recommend, had a very relaxing four nights there.

I am happy to be here for 1 month. With a traditional Balinese house but still designed in a modern way.Room & Bathroom🏡Plus (+)- the room I stayed in was spacious, the bathroom was also spacious. Plenty of space to open suitcases or other items. There are tables and chairs in the room and on the balcony. There is a cupboard that is enough to store things and lots of hangers too- AC is very cold- Spacious bathroom, very good warm water for showering, toilet flush works well- Aminitis complete with soap, shampoo, toothbrush- They also provide towels for swimming and towels for the face- The bed is very comfortable and has 4 pillows which are very comfortable and soft. The blanket is very soft and comfortableminus (-)- Firstly, the room floor was really dirty, like dusty, it felt really dirty on my feet and even the soles of my feet turned black. Even when you compare the floor outside the room, it feels mattier and cleaner outside than in the room- Towels smell of bleaching, so the smell of bleach really smells like this happened twice to me when changing towels, after that it was fine and didn't smell of bleaching.- To clean the room, I don't think the toilet was really cleaned in the first 2 weeks. Because there were some pieces of tissue that fell and/or hair around the toilet, or the hair in the drain was not cleaned. The toilet was also not cleaned. We asked for help cleaning the toilet area but it wasn't really cleaned. But after the second time I asked for help cleaning the toilet afterwards they worked well- Lots of mosquitoes in the kitchen and on the terrace. Even though we were given anti-mosquito spray, this didn't help much because mosquitoes were everywhere- Because there is construction next to this place, so from morning to evening you will hear the noise of the construction because the rooms are not soundproof, but it doesn't matter if you have activities outside during daylight- For me, sometimes locking bedroom doors is annoying because I find it quite difficult to get them to fit and lockKitchen & environment:plus (+)- the owner was cooperative because it turned out that in the room there was a large figure like a statue that appeared above the bed. Because I have a phobia, we requested that our room not have these figures- a nice and beautiful place full of plants and always cared for with lots of bonsai also the swimming pool is very large, clean and very well maintained- The kitchen is also very complete, cooking and eating utensils are also very complete. Clean enough, you can refill drinking water any time they provide it in the kitchen- They provide anti-mosquito spray in the kitchen- The atmosphere is calm right in the middle of busy and crowded Canggu- Very close to the beach- Has a big swimming pool- We had a problem with the sink getting stuck, they could easily fix itSuggestion :- For microwaves, toasters, rice cookers, clean them regularly from scale or other dirt, because sometimes lizard poop sticks to the sides.- For dishwashing drainers or dishwashing spoons and sponges, you can also clean or replace them regularly for stagnant water because I once had a lot of mosquito larvae so I cleaned them.- Maybe there could be an addition in the kitchen, there is an electric mosquito catcher so that we can enjoy just relaxing during the day and at night.- You can pay more attention to each room so you can see how clean it is before the guests arrive, maybe there is dust on the floor because it has been closed for a long time- Maybe it could be added to clean the toilet holes in each toilet, because they don't really clean the whole thing. So we ourselves are confused about how to clean it. Meanwhile, we asked for the toilet to be cleaned but it wasn't cleaned completely :/- Maybe the staff could be more communicative and alert, for something stuck in the sink I would have to go back and ask when it could be fixed.But it's all very extraordinary. We really enjoy staying here 💖

Room was nice but the sound proof isn't that good. Pool is nice too and location is really good. Staff members were polite but they weren't available that often. Also we thought there's no house keeping during our stay but then the day before we were leaving they had cleaned our room. We stayed for five nights and there was quite much sand on the floors and some trash so it would have been nice they'd cleaned our room more often since they apparently were supposed to do it. We also had to ask more toilet paper from the lobby since there was no house keeping during our stay. That was quite weard too. Overall it was a good place to stay.

If your looking for true authentic bolinese experience set in beautiful grounds with caring staff that truly love the place and make you feel super welcome then look no further. This place couldnt offer more if they tried to Its immaculate the decore is elegant and authentic & the owner made us feel like part of the family. The super speed WiFi is brilliant Aircon in the rooms is brilliant and the relaxed pool area is peaceful. There is a honesty fridge that you can get beer juice or water any time of the night without disturbing anyone. This place is definitely one I would recommend and will come back to. Thank you all so much for all the love and care you shown to us.

The place is nice and clean, the pool is beautiful and inviting and the location couldn’t be better. Great place to stay in the heart of Canggu at a very affordable price.
