2024.02.25This month, I decided to travel to Fukushima Soma, which is next door and the support for the trip has been revived. After wandering around Matsukawaura Environmental Park and Matsukawaura Ohashi Bridge, I finally decided to visit Matsukawaura Environmental Park and the Matsukawaura Ohashi Bridge, and finally, unable to bear the cold of the day, I arrived earlier than check-in and asked to wait. I asked him to accept me and let me go to my room. Not only that, but I was surprised that even though I was able to use the room early due to my own circumstances, they soon provided me with a hot water bottle, saying, ``It gets cold at night.''I have used many winter accommodations in the past, but this is the first time I have experienced such a service.I went to bed remembering how I used to use electric anchors when I was little, and was even more surprised to find that I was still warm and snug in my futon until the morning. When choosing this inn, I was looking for local seafood products known as ``Tokiwa products.''I was torn between trying out the nearby Tomoeya Ryokan, but decided to go with Tomoeya Ryokan because the plan was so advantageous. There was a lot of fuss about the treated water, the return of the famous Hamayaki, and the temptation in front of the nearby Ryokan Isamiya was overwhelming, but I decided to leave it there in order to complement the dinner. When I have a drink before the meal I'm looking forward to, I find myself falling asleep before dinner, which is a common occurrence when I'm on a trip. It's easy to run out of energy because you always have to go on a trip after your night shift.I was looking forward to seeing the sunset at Matsukawaura, but I had given up halfway on that day due to the cloudy weather, and before I knew it, the sun had already set.For dinner, the table is filled with wonderful local ingredients, just as you would expect. The sashimi includes grilled red sea bream, sea bass, and seasonal surf clam sashimi. The meat is thick and chewy, making it a satisfying meal.Boiled in soy sauce, the meat is chewy and has a deep flavor. It's so satisfying that the crab and hotpot abalone seem to play a supporting role.I'm excited because it makes me feel like I can enjoy the new season. The room is spacious enough for one person (10 tatami mats), and is kept clean and comfortable. The direction in which the sun rises is in the shadow of the neighboring ``Kannoya Ryokan'', so in order to see the sunrise, it seems necessary to go to the fishing port across the road. However, the morning I stayed there was cloudy and the night dawned, and although I couldn't see the sunrise, I was still satisfied with the view of the quiet Matsukawaura. The bath is not a hot spring in this area, so the necessary equipment is minimal, but the shampoo and conditioner are separate for washing the hair, and the hair doesn't seem to be crunchy, so it's safe. After being closed at 10:00 p.m., it was open from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning. Before breakfast, we take a morning walk around the fishing port, see the seaside life, set out early to fish, and once we have landed our catch quickly, we drive off to ship it.As someone who grew up in the mountains, I was also happy to be able to enjoy the scenery of a fishing port that I don't often get to see.Although it is not flashy, the inn and the surrounding area offer a good experience that will cleanse your soul.

I stayed on a half board plan. I was told that there was nothing to eat during the Obon period, but the food was sumptuous. The vinegared sea bream, sashimi kitoyori shellfish, and Mexicali tempura served for dinner were especially delicious. The vinegar of the sea bream vinegar was mellow and I could really taste the taste of the sea bream vinegar. Soma is the southern limit of Kitayori gai, but after just a quick boil, the color, taste, and texture were wonderful. It was my first time to eat flatfish crab, which is similar to fisherman's food. Breakfast was also plentiful. The people at the inn were also kind.It is said that this inn did not suffer much damage during the Great East Japan Earthquake, but it suffered considerable damage during the 2021 and 2022 earthquakes. Repairs had just been completed in the spring. We hope for the recovery and development of the region.

I used it on the day of the fireworks festival! There was a charger written on the rental list, so I asked if I could borrow a charger, and the landlady lent me her own charger lol.Since I'm not a local, he kindly showed me a map and gave me a lot of information about the fireworks festival venue, where to see it, etc! I would definitely like to use it again ☺️

This inn is in an excellent location overlooking Matsukawaura. This time, I applied for a 5,000 yen plan on Rakuten Travel for an 8 tatami Japanese-style room with breakfast and no bathroom, but since I was the only guest staying that day, I was offered a 10 tatami Japanese-style room with a bathroom and toilet at Matsukawaura. I was upgraded to a room on the second floor with a view. Due to the Fukushima Prefecture Earthquake in March 2022, the inn has been completely renovated and has new wallpaper and tatami mats, making it a very clean inn. Although the bath is small, there is a large bath where you can relax and soak in the hot water. The breakfast was plentiful and I was happy to be able to eat it right in front of the TV. (When the time comes, the food is served in the cafeteria, and although miso soup and coffee are served, it is basically self-service). As a non-smoker, I was very happy that the room was completely non-smoking. To be honest, there is a small refrigerator in the room, but there is no freezer compartment, so I think it would be better if you could change it to a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.I went there from Yokohama, and it's a cozy inn that makes me want to go again.

Participate in a tour to discover the charms of the Soso district? I was able to do it! The accommodation was very nice, and the Hamayaki experience was something I had never experienced before 🤗 Hamayaki seems to be something that has been disappearing in this area since the Great East Japan Earthquake... Even celebrities have experienced it 🤗 By the way, the sign in the image This is Cheaning Takeyama and Yoshio Kojima🤣And then there's Nasubi from Fukushima prefecture🤣The people of this area have withstood repeated earthquakes, so I would like anyone with even the slightest interest to come and visit.
