I visited with a snowboarding accommodation plan that departed from Shinjuku in the morning and arrived in the afternoon (around 1:00 p.m.).Check-in starts at 3pm. Until then, I was killing time getting ready to change in the locker room in the basement of the lodge. Before going to the changing room, you pass through a smoking area, so if someone is smoking, you will smell the smoke. The changing rooms are spacious and highly recommended. The tour company we used said it was a 4 minute walk from the slopes, but it took a little longer if you were wearing clothing and boots. (About 10 minutes walk)You can buy alcohol and snacks at Yamazaki Shop Takaifuji branch, which is about a 5-minute walk from the lodge. The selection was very good.(The store is open only for a limited time)The room only has a TV, a set of futons, and a table. You can borrow supplies such as toothbrushes, tissues, hair dryers, towels, etc., but you can't borrow them unless you tell the man at the lodge. There are times when I don't know where my uncle is, so I can't call out to him. There is no drying room for clothes, etc., but there is a large clothesline in the room and a heater.I was able to dry it thoroughly and was able to prepare it the next morning quickly. The mattress was a little thin. The lodge's bathroom (for women) is not a large bath, but a slightly larger bath and one shower set. There were two sets of chairs, buckets, and changing room baskets. Rather than entering with a friend, you take turns entering one by one.It wasn't locked and there was no sign, so I thought, ``What if other guests come?''Shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap are provided.I was a little surprised that it wasn't a body soap. The bathtub was a circulating bath, so it was always hot and spacious. There are a total of 4 restrooms, 2 for men and 2 for women. The toilet (female) feels like an old-fashioned toilet.Although it is a Western-style toilet, you press the pedal attached to the toilet to flush it. I was a little concerned about the smell. There are also 4 places to wash your hands. There was hand soap and bar soap.Meals were eaten in the dining room with other guests.Tables are separated by room, and you will be seated in your own room.Dinner is basically a hamburger steak, but you can upgrade to sukiyaki or shabu-shabu by paying 1,100 yen (1,000 yen plus consumption tax of 100 yen) at checkout.I had sukiyaki and was very happy with the amount of vegetables, mushrooms, grilled tofu, and beef. Also, the base soup was very delicious. It was well worth the upgrade. It's a lot of fun because we can freely make it ourselves.Breakfast was standard style with fried eggs and seasoned seaweed. The rice was delicious.Late check-out was possible for 500 yen per person.Depending on the room situation, it is possible to stay until around 2pm.The man at the lodge was very kind. They prepared and explained the boards and boots. The food is delicious and I highly recommend it.The facilities at the lodge are a little old, so it might be a concern for nervous people, but I had a very relaxing time.
