Recommended for those who want to stay cheaply around Shiga Kogen during Golden Week.It was a shame that it wasn't a hot spring, but the food was very delicious.Since there are few electrical outlets, we recommend bringing a charger with many USB outlets.

Although it is a buffet style, the food is plentiful and very delicious.The staff's response is wonderful.Although the room is showing its age, I am very satisfied with the cost performance as well.

Check-in is from 15:00, but since I wasn't feeling well, I called them after 1:00 p.m., but they kindly let me check in and said it was okay as the cleaning was done, and thanks to that, I was able to rest in bed and recover quickly. It was very helpful to be able to do it.Although the price was reasonable, all of the buffet-style food was delicious, the room was a little old but comfortable with Wi-Fi and a humidifier, and the staff was very responsive.It was a very good hotel.My child also said that the food was delicious and that he would like to stay there again, and I would like to stay at the White Hotel again next time I go skiing in Shiga Kogen.

It was a shower toilet.The food was delicious and I was very satisfied!This hotel has a family atmosphere.The facility is old and seems to be updated in parts. At first glance, it looks like it was in the Showa era, but the urinals in the men's restroom flush automatically, and the rooms now have shower toilets.Since it's a cheap place to stay, I think it's a hotel where renovations are minimal, but you can get to where you need it most.

It's not just reasonable, it's super cheap! Two meals included (so delicious)!! ︎With large bath!! ︎! Thank you for hosting me there 😊 It goes without saying that the ski resort is good, but this trip with Mr. White made me love Shiga Kogen even more ❤️. Next time I go to Shiga Kogen, I will definitely go to the White Hotel. If I can't stay at the White Hotel, I will change the ski resort 😤

It was great to have a ski drying room on the first floor. Although it is old, it is kept in good condition and I think it is one of the nicest in the Ichinose area. Viking at night. While there are many school lunches, this one didn't feel like that, and it was delicious. Even in the morning, in Shiga Kogen, there are many Japanese restaurants that don't serve coffee, but I'm glad that they serve coffee and tea at the buffet. It is located just below the Tanne lift station. It's a tiring climb on the way there, but it's convenient to ski down on the way back. It was convenient that the ski drying room and changing room before and after check-in were on the same floor as the lobby floor.

I used it for New Year's Eve in 2023-2024.There was an earthquake in Noto on New Year's Day, and the lifts stopped working, so I almost became a refugee, but I called the hotel and they gave me a ride. (Usually, we probably don't provide transportation to and from the slopes.)The food was also very delicious, just as it was said on the internet, and I enjoyed every meal. I liked it better than the Gere food at Prince Hotel.The Tanne Forest lift is directly behind the inn. The hill up there is a little steep, but it's just a warm-up exercise.The drying room also had racks with a lock, so I felt safe.Boots can be brought into the room.Anyway, the employees were kind and the accommodation was comfortable.

We couldn't go skiing due to bad weather, so when we asked for advice, they kindly let us into our room well before check-in, which we were really grateful for as we were traveling with children. The buffet also has a wide variety and is very satisfying. I was able to use the room and public bath even after checking out, so I was able to refresh my body before heading home. I would definitely like to use it again.

If I could give ten stars for service I would. Miyuki and the manager here put on a masterclass in customer service. They put just about every other venue I've ever been to, accomodation, food, attraction - to shame. They are astoundingly good at their jobs, extremely courteous and helpful and a lovely to be around. They made our stay at Shiga a delight.Otherwise? The hotel is a little on the older side but maintained well. The rooms are traditional with tatami (sic) beds, but warm and comfortable. As a Westerner the only thing I didn't like were the pillows.The onsen is ok, nothing special, but the breakfast buffet is legitimately good. Oh and the location? There's a lift behind the hotel. It's almost ski in ski out. Almost. 40 metre walk up a short hill.It's a budget hotel, sure, but you'll find few better anywhere.

It is first time of our group (4ppl) staying in Shiga White and overall I'm very happy with this accommodation. Japanese style room is just enough for two PPL and extra heater, air purifier and etc are provided to ensure the comfortability in the winter night. Though no bathroom, we have our own toilet which is good enough. Nice to go to the on-sen after the ski. Breakfast and dinner is provided on buffet style which combines both Japanese and Western. Food are well accommodated and love to have a good breakfast to start a day. Menu is slightly different each day and we only get little bit bored after 5 mornings. You need to walk to family ski area, but for my friends, they love to climb the slop next door and take the lift, then ski to family area, esp in the early morning, you would be the first one explore the all fresh powder snow. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and I'm very grateful to have them around. Hotel itself is quite basic, instead of brand new and modern, but definitely is a good option in the area for the money value. Recommended!

The hotel room is quite spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff in the hotel are also very friendly and give people a warm feeling. The food at buffet is super delicious! Ichinose Ski Resort is also within walking distance, which is very convenient. I am really happy to stay in this hotel, and I will want to come back again in the future! Highly recommended!

I used it for the first time the other day.Anyway, the staff's response is wonderful.Kind and polite. As for the service, you can take a bath after checking out.However, unfortunately, the parking lot cannot accommodate more than 10 cars in front of the hotel, so we moved to a distant location.The room was too cold near the window.The food was a good buffet.

I usually come here about 5 times a year when my family goes skiing.It faces the Tanne Forest between Takamagahara and Ichinose Family.It takes about 2 minutes to climb up a small slope to the ski slope.The front desk is polite and helpful. There is also a free ski vise, the bathroom is clean and you can stay very relaxed, and the meal is basically a buffet for breakfast and dinner, but instead of the frozen food buffet that is common in Shiga Kogen, it is prepared by the owner's wife. It's a very delicious meal full of handmade food.I always end up eating too much and returning home fat (lol).The kids are also very happy.I've stayed at many hotels in Shiga Kogen, and there are many good ones if you pay a high price, but this one... Shiga Kogen is definitely No. 1 in the price range, highly recommended.

We used it during the ski season.First of all, the front desk was very helpful.It was my first time at a hotel, so there were a lot of things I didn't know, but they were kind to me.Next, the food was delicious.There was a wide variety of food and it was good.I think the public bath is a little small, but you can heal your tired body without any problems.Regarding access to the ski resort, I walked towards the family ski resort so it was a little far (lol)This is a great hotel with low prices and good service.
