The location is perfect, close to the Nagasaka gondola. There are many shops and restaurants near by, very charming town. The inside of the inn is decorated beautifully , and I was impressed by the comfortable futon laid out bedding in the room I arrived in. The tatami shared lounge was spacious and warm and sunny, allowing us to take a relaxing break. The continental breakfast was delicious, with miso soup ! The staff at the inn was very friendly and it was a great experience to hear their local stories. We hope to stay longer next winter. Thank you so much !

It was a great experience at lodge seitan! The hosts, Shoko and Hayato and their daughter Uta were super welcoming and hospitable. The location to the gondola is also unbeatable. We will be back! ☺️

I had a very lovely two week stay at Lodge Seizan. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The service was superb as well, and all my many questions were enthusiastically dealt with. The price is extremely reasonable not only for the quality of the accommodation, but also the proximity to the main gondola station!Thank you all very much!

Our group’s stay at Seizan last ski season was very pleasant and it absolutely graced our trip to Nozawaonsen for the following reasons.Excellent location. Only 2-3mins walk to the gondola and within short, walkable distance to shops, onsens and restaurants.Hotel facilities are on-point. Room is floored with tatami and nicely decorated with a Japanese touch. Onsen is available and decent. Dining area has a huge table which can accommodate 10pax - excellent space to meet with other hotel guests and exchange useful travel tips. A bonus point is the tatami-floored yoga studio where we stretched before and after ski.Choko the host and her family always greeted us warmly and were very helpful. That included helping us make make reservations with restaurants.We’d recommend anyone traveling to Nozawaonsen to stay at Saizen.Our group’s stay at Saizen was very pleasant and it absolutely graced our trip to Nozawaonsen for the following reasons.Excellent location. Perfect place to stay in Nozawa Onsen. Clean and comfortable, especially the luxury bedding for a dreamy nice sleep. Extra great location on the doorsteps of the ski lift and a warm friendly homely environment by Luke, Wendy and family. Surrounded by local restaurants with great food at very affordable prices. This place can only get more excellent. We will be back for sure!

Lovely place to stay, extremely good location right next to skiing facilities. Clean and cozy room (exactly like the photos - so nice!), kind owners. Lovely details like the tea things in the room and nice soap. Thank you for a lovely stay!It's a really nice lodge. It was very convenient as it was right next to the gondola. The room was warm and clean. The bathroom was also clean and had just the right amount of water. The hosts were also kind and taught me various things and helped me out. I thought the lamp in the room was really cute. thank you very much! I'll come again♪

Great location for skiing, the young family who runs the lodge is very lovely, helpful and kind :) The lodge was very clean and well managed.

Thankyou for wonderful stay....great beds and kind managers with cute Uta.Always keen to please and to chat.... Seizan is the perfect location to Nagasaka gondola. Blue bottle coffee up the road as well....I'm skied out for now!
