Thank you for your help in summer skiing. In winter, the Karasawa ski slope lift platform is right in front of you. The food was also delicious. The indoor bath is a hot spring bath. The public bath Nakao-no-Yu is also a short walk away. It was a wonderful stay, and I appreciated the hospitality of the host family.

Great location for skiing as it is situated across the road from the Karasawa chair lift. Lovely breakfast with traditional Japanese or western options. Small seperate onsen for men or women. …

A cute traditional Japanese accomodation.Location is a little far from the town centre (10-15min walk) but there is a free shuttle bus you can catch into town or to the Gondola (2-3 mins away from accomodation). There’s also a chairlift within 1 minutes walking distance.The rooms are good. Sleeping on the floor was fun. I felt like I was back at school camp. Surprised with how comfortable I was. The thick duvet was amazing and pillows very comfy. The toilets are double doored for privacy.The Onsen area isn’t immaculate and could use some more cleaning. This was the only downside.There’s a great tea and coffee station where you can help yourself. Breakfast is lovely especially when you can order eggs to your liking.A huge area for snow gear too. So no one is ever on top of each other which is nice when you have so much stuff to deal with.Staff are great too - accomodating.I would stay here again :)

Accommodation close to the ski slopes. The food is delicious. No bath or toilet in the room. The bath is small, but it is a hot spring.

Outstanding guest experience. The hosts and their family took excellent care of me as I injured myself while skiing. They went out of their way to ensure I was well looked after. Their kindness meant a lot to me especially since I was travelling solo. Loved their home brewed sake that was always available - served piping hot on the wood stove.
