Mitsubachi Maya is an beautiful family-run B&B—very clean, comfortable, and exceptionally welcoming to foreigners.Mrs. Ikeda and her daughter craft a delicious breakfast spread daily, featuring both traditional Japanese comfort food and Western options. The Dining Hall also offers a constant supply of tea and coffee. Mr Ikeda ensures the fireplace is tended to in the colder months so you’re guaranteed a cozy spot for reading and relaxing after a day at the snow! Located only a 5 minute walk to the town centre but far away enough that it is quiet. This is my partners’ second time back and my first and I can see that we will be back again in future!

Eating a hearty meal or taking a bath whenever you want is great. My husband is also smiling, and we'll be going again next year, so let's do our best not to lose to the coronavirus.

Fabulous and warm hospitality. We enjoyed a lot staying here. Everything is just fine and breakfast is so delicious and so many choices. Will definitely come back again to stay couple nights ;)Very cozy. Warm B&B👍The boss and his wife are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious❤️
