This hotel is a very lovely place run by an old couple. The hotel and rooms are cozy and clean, despite there only being shared bathrooms and bathing room - please do not let this put you off. They cook delicious food and are extremely friendly and hospitable. Please do stay here as they do not have many guests!

The location is right from the central terminal, making it easy to get into town. The room was warm and the common areas were clean and comfortable. The host and landlady also spoke to me kindly and in detail.

Since it is a guest house, the toilet and washroom are shared, the bath is small, there are two showers, and there is a ski drying room. The shuttle bus stop to the ski resort is a 30-second walk away, and the public bath Yokoochi-no-Yu is a 1-minute walk away. The food is very delicious, using local ingredients, and the drinks go well. The proprietress is friendly and the place is very comfortable, so I always come here when I come to Nozawa Onsen.

I searched for a vacant inn at the last minute and booked one that was close to the bus stop and easy to go skiing. It was said that the portion was large and the taste was delicious, but although the portion was not small, it was not large. The taste is also normal, about the same as a typical mother's taste.Unless I asked them, they wouldn't tell me where anything was or what time their meal would be served, so I got the impression that they weren't very interested in first-time customers.Next time, I wanted to find a place to stay sooner.

The landlady and the boss are very kind, but they can only communicate in Japanese. The food is delicious. There is a heater and a quilt table in the room, but there is no refrigerator. I put the drinks in the small space outside the window. Shopping streets and bus stops are within a ten-minute walk. In addition, I think the recent Hengluo Tang is relatively less hot inside the outer soup.

I purposely stayed there without meals for business purposes at the end of December when it was snowing. The reason I decided to go here was because it had high reviews, but also because it was close to the bus stop and had good access. If you are staying overnight without meals, you can get on the Nozawa Onsen Liner early in the morning and get there right away. The room was a ski inn with a kotatsu, and was simple but comfortable. Even when there was a sudden heavy snowfall, I was able to get boots and an umbrella right away and was able to go out even though I had no snow protection as I was staying there for business purposes. The disadvantages are that there is no free WiFi, there is no windshield at the entrance, it is difficult to find a place to remove snow, it is not a hot spring, and there is no refrigerator. Since it was cold outside, the refrigerator could be placed between the double windows.

The reviews on a certain reservation site were quite high, but when I went there, I found it to be a very ordinary guesthouse with shared toilets and baths. …
