The parking lot is shown in the photo on the access page of the homepage. The staff responded very kindly. thank you.The guest room was clean and I felt really smooth when I took a bath.Reservations are required for private use on the same day, and there are two types of baths: a large bath and a small bath, so it may be best to check in early ✌️Next time I would like to make a reservation early and eat here ☺️

To anyone thinking of staying at this amazing ryokan, from the perspective first-time foreigners, we cannot recommend it enough. We both stayed here, in early April, as Americans visiting Japan for the first time. As part of our exploration of Japan, we wanted to have as many unique and authentic experiences as we could, while always being respectful of the culture. This ryokan gave us the opportunity for a truly authentic experience, and we count ourselves extremely lucky to have stayed here. We found that the hospitality, location, food, amenities, and overall experience to be above and beyond what we hoped for. The history behind this Ryokan, as well as the overall feel and luxury of the space made us feel so welcomed into another culture, and it's our hope that everyone can have such an amazing experience. We were lavished with delicious meals, authentic and wonderfully hot private baths, as well as such warmth and kindness from our host, Keiko, that I never once felt insecure about being a foreigner. We loved our time here, and it will go down in our memories as one of the best experiences we will ever have.Gratefully,Sarina and Oliver

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This small ryokan is unbelievable and the owner was the nicest woman imaginable. She even drove us to laundry! Can’t recommend this stay enough.

Check in was very easy, owner explained everything well and answered any questions we had even with the language barrier. The private onsen was very soothing and relaxing , beautiful traditional style Japanese rooms. We arrived on a day when most restaurants were unfortunately closed, the owner went above and beyond and called a restaurant for us and had us dropped off at the restaurant and scheduled a taxi pick up for us. Amazing customer service , would definitely stay here again.

The parking lot is a little far from the inn, so I lowered the rating by ✩, but other than that I'm quite satisfied. It's an old building, so the stairs are steep and there are no toilets in the rooms, but there are handrails on the stairs, there are toilets on each floor, and it was new and very clean. The room was also spacious enough for two people. It's an old building, so there aren't many electrical outlets, but there were three that could be used as power sources, so it wasn't a problem. The hostel was also quiet, which was very nice. There is good access to the 9 outdoor baths, and the inn's baths can be reserved for 50 minutes in separate rooms, so you can relax and take a relaxing bath. The one who went in first added water and the temperature dropped, but when we opened the partition, hot water came out and we were able to adjust the temperature to our liking, and there was hot water, so it was quite a bit. I was satisfied. The male staff member was also very soft-spoken, talked to me a lot, and taught me a lot about the neighborhood. As a cat lover, I was very satisfied as I was able to meet and pet Pikotaro, the black cat who is the main character, on my way home after staying there.I would like to take care of you again when you go to Shibu Onsen.
