Apparently there are reservations for foreigners visiting Jigokudani Monkey Park. Monkeys come to the open-air bath at this inn, so you definitely want to take a bath with them. Day trip bathing is also possible. It has a history of 150 years, and since monkeys were bathing there long before the Monkey Park, they may have taken the hint and opened the Monkey Park. Photos are posted below in honor of "Snow Monkey & Zenkoji".

We were in the heart of the monkey park, wow what an experience! I asked for vegetarian food and a special meal was made for us that was delicious! The hosts are so incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us find a lost item on our travels, contacting authorities for us. Really a special and magical place.

Amazing experience. The owner is really nice and an amazing cook. One of the best trips we've ever had. Be aware that the walk from the parking to the hotel is about 15 minutes so plan accordingly
