Apart from the usual, much appreciated, Japanese-style hospitality (always kind and helpful), I ate really good food.|The only small flaw is the closing of the bar and terrace at 9.30pm/10pm. …

Lovely hotel, staff were so helpful, outstanding service. Food was excellent and we loved the onsen. The traditional rooms are so cute with beautiful views. Very close to snow monkey park, Joel organised shuttle bus pick up from station and to/from the park.

We traveled to Yamanouchi to see the snow monkeys and spent the night at the Biyunoyado onsen. The hospitality of the entire staff was the best anywhere.  …

It's been a while since I last used it, but the interior was nice and clean. However, I think it would be better for staff members to refrain from looking at boards that may contain personal information when riding in the elevator with customers. Also, if you have to stand in front of the elevator button, I wish they would have asked the customer what floor they were using. I think even ordinary members of society would do the same. When I called the front desk, I could hear the internal conflict, so I asked them to answer the phone after they finished.I think the quality of the staff has declined overall. It was quite disappointing. I'll have to think about it a bit before using it next time.

This Ryokan is really nice and walkable distance from the Yudanaka stn, hotel stay is really nice and whole staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also the owner of the hotel Yukiko-san is really really nice and very helpful. So at one instance we went to sora terrace for sightseeing and missed our bus then we called at hotel for help, since it was late and taxi drivers doesn't understand English, so she herself came all the way to that remote area to pick us up in very late evening, thank you soo much for that, I never seen such humble person. She wanted to give message in my language so I will write that also,नमस्ते, मै बोलूंगा की अगर आप Nagano आने का सोच रहे हैं तो आप यहां ज़रूर रुके, यहां का staff और owner, सभी काफ़ी helpful और humble है।Thanks again Yukiko-san and hotel staff for all the things that you done for making our stay great.

I found this hotel randomly on Google Maps and it turned out to be great ! I booked this through their official website, they confirm by email your reservation. The stay was nice, the rooms were clean. Upon arrival, you can choose between 2 times to eat your dinner and breakfast. You eat in a big dining hall which I didn't mind (it allowed me to meet other travelers). The food was okay, but portions were big. I especially liked the onsen facilities and the free shuttle to go to snow monkey park early in the morning. The hotel drives you to the entrance of the park, picks you up to drive you to the train station afterwards. Great service and great staff !

We stayed 2 nights at this delightful ryokan. We chose a western style room with a private onsen. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and more than we had imagined.  …
