The service and the food were magnificent. Having been able to sink in Japanese culture with such elegant hosts was an unforgettable experience. Multi-course dinner, royal breakfast, stunning views and relaxing atmosphere. Getting there requires effort, which makes it a secluded place to - for those who want to escape busy Tokyo it is a must-have!

This place is an absolute treasure.Driving to the place was an afford as it was through a winding road. Upon arrival, service staff were quick to assist with luggage.Check-in was thorough and simple to understand. The female staff assigned to us was very friendly and helpful. The kaiseki dinners were fantastic. Perhaps I am not a fussy eater, I find that all the food was delicious. On the 1st night, I put on the kimono 👘 & asked the staff if I did it right. Immediately, she got me back into my room & helped me with the kimono. In less than 5 min, she was done. Remarkable. The public bath had an indoor and outdoor section. Though small, I liked it because there was no crowd when I visited it.It is situated very near Yoro Waterfall and the park so it is a good place to go walking/hiking.Breakfast spread was good and sufficient. No complaints. The room was wonderful, with the bath facing Nagoya city and I could see stars in the sky at night.Overall, it was an enjoyable stay with this ryokan.

Almost great except。。。1. Crazy slow internet most of the time, are we back to the 90's again。。。?2. Very old Washlet with no instant hot water, last time we see these were in those sub ¥10000/night old business hotels。。。3. Public onsen need to be renovate as soon as possible。Yes, most rooms in this high end hotel do have in room onsen, but the public one still need to be in reasonable standard. Corrosion is eating the metal, and fixture cannot be loose。。。

This luxurious Ryokan locates a few mins walk from the Yoro waterfall. We found this place by chance after visting the waterfall and dropped in for lunch and onsen (hot-spring bath). Nice panoramic view from the lobby. …

WOW! We were beyond impressed with this hidden gem! With only 11 rooms, its a short walk to the Yoro Falls - perfect way to start your day before a delicious, Japanese breakfast. The rooms are large, and ours had a private bath. …

What wonderful experience! We had a traditional room with a private hot spring bath. Guest are ushered to the traditional dinning rooms individually, so you do not see other guests. The feeling is that you are the only guests.A inspiring waterfall is a short 10 minute walk. We are looking forward to returing next year.

We had never heard of Takimotokan Yuki No Sato (or Yoro Onsen, for that matter) until I decided to break up our long drive from Kyoto to Gero Onsen. …

Situated deep in the mountain, a place truly and wholehearted designed for people to getaway from busy and hectic real world. It's compact but it got everything enough to let you refreshed. …

The place has a very nice atmosphere, the staff is incredibly nice and they also have the public bath (onsen) with both the inside and outside area. The water in the outside bath was so hot that it was hard to stay there more than a very short moment. Some rooms have private outdoor bath with beautiful view on Nagoya and surrounding nature.Nearby, there's also a really beautiful waterfall which I highly recommend seeing. Overall, the place was really amazing and I can highly recommend it.
