The inn here is very good.There are 80 steps up the stairs, is that okay? I was told that there would be no problem at all, but if you're tipsy then it's fine, but if your tongue is good...lolIt feels good to be surrounded by nature. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.

I stayed at the main building. They were very courteous from the initial contact. The use of space and colors were very beautiful and comfortable.I was able to use the indoor bath for private use. We had a luxurious time listening to the sound of wind chimes and rain.Breakfast is homemade by the host. Freshly made food was brought to the table.This is an inn that I would like to stay at again next time.

This is the best inn with delicious home-cooked meals that don't use ready-made products and friendly and heartfelt hospitality. As the catchphrase says, I visit every year during the crab season, feeling like I'm coming home, but this year I want to enjoy the renovated rooms, so I'm planning to visit again in early summer.

I stayed here for one night at the end of the year.The room was separate so I didn't have to worry about the neighbors. It was nice to have a room with a nostalgic atmosphere, like when I went to my grandmother's house.The indoor bath also had an open-air bath.We rented it out at night and were able to warm up slowly.The landlady who attended the reception was friendly and very pleasant.If I have a chance to go to Kinosaki again, I would like to stay at this hotel.

An inn surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle.The food is excellent for both dinner and breakfast. I felt that each item was carefully made to bring out the flavor of the ingredients.As stated on the official website, there are 80 steps, which some people may find difficult, but it didn't bother me.Convenient location for visiting public baths and sightseeing in Kinosaki town. it's recommended.

It's a detached house, so I didn't have to worry about my neighbors. However, you will be visited by insects, so it may be difficult for people who are not good with insects.

The inn was being renovated, so I was allowed to use it at the discretion of the landlady.As always, the food was of high quality and delicious.Also, the hostess' personality is great!Recommended for those who want to take a quiet hot spring bath.

I stayed there in the fall of 2022.It's true that climbing the stairs is a little difficult, but I wanted to spend my time quietly, so I was very satisfied with the separate room and the hot spring outside. The crab was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all, and if I ever go to Kinosaki Onsen, I'd like to stay there again.

This is a really special place. The proprietress is extremely kind and sweet, and actually speaks a reasonable amount of English. Perhaps more importantly she was super welcoming even though we spoke no Japanese. The rooms are pretty, the annex has incredible views, and the outdoor bath is pretty. It’s super cheap for the area especially if you don’t do meals (which frankly you don’t need to, as there is easy access to food in town). Walls are thin but that’s typical for ryokans. Probably the most comfy bed we’ve slept on in Japan. They give you nice robes and wooden shoes to walk around in. It’s also centrally located in town but on a quiet off street, truly perfect location. I highly recommend this place and totally adored kinosaki onsen in general.

Stayed in September 2021. I think I reviewed it before, but it has disappeared...? So I'm reposting it.I stayed for several nights without meals in a detached room at the top of the mountain at the top of the stairs. Apparently there is a bath near the annex, but unfortunately I was not able to take a bath. Well, I agreed and got a place to stay, so I didn't know about that👌But I wanted to try it out if I had the chance😞The stairs were quite difficult, but thanks to them we were able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle below. It is not recommended for people with walking disabilities or those who are not confident in their physical strength, as you will have to go up and down steep stairs wearing a yukata and geta. Also, it's slippery on rainy days, so it's quite dangerous. As you can see in the photo, the stairs are wide enough for one person to pass through, so we had to be careful when passing each other. Well, it can't be helped.What made me happy was what happened on my way home. When I said I would check out early in the morning and head to the station, the couple drove me to the station after checking out 😭❤️Thank you very much🙏

I used it on a trip with my girlfriend.It was a very heartwarming inn, with courteous customer service from all the staff.Each dish was elaborately prepared and was very delicious.We had a wonderful time, thank you very much.I would like to use it again in another season!

I booked a one night stay with meals included.It's true that the equipment is not new, and there were some parts that were a little loose, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and the hostess's friendly personality made me feel at ease, like I was back at home. This is a wonderful inn with a warm, handmade feel.The location is convenient for visiting the public baths, and the food was delicious, so I'm personally very satisfied!Please note that although the rooms are separated, there are only stairs, so it is not suitable for people with large luggage such as suitcases or people with weak legs.There are also no toiletries such as toothbrushes, so please bring your own. It's something we can't live without.(In both cases, you will receive information over the phone to confirm your reservation.)It was an inn that warmed my mind and body and I would definitely like to stay again! Next time I want to stay for several nights!

Each of the hearty, locally produced and locally consumed dinner and breakfast menus was ingeniously designed (the couple seems to have thought of the menu together), and not only were they delicious, but we also had a lot of fun. Tajima beef was very filling and delicious! We had separate dining rooms, so we were able to eat while talking without worrying about the coronavirus. The room was tastefully and cleanly decorated, making use of the old structure, making it a comfortable stay. Also, the flowers displayed here and there are fresh and no corners have been cut. Impressed! Although you have to climb some stairs, the indoor and open-air baths are well worth the trip. I felt liberated because I was just the only one in a reserved state! It felt good! Above all, I was impressed by the friendly personality of the young proprietress and the staff's handmade hospitality. I'm glad I was able to enjoy Kinosaki here. Thank you for your help.

As soon as I called to arrive, the young proprietress came outside and showed me where to park. Dinner was Tajima beef sukiyaki and it was very delicious. Both the vegetables and the sashimi were exquisite. The view from the indoor bath and open-air bath was also great. Even though it was a last-minute reservation, I was happy to be accommodated immediately. I had wonderful memories when I went to Fujimiya.I thought the warm and polite response of the young proprietress was wonderful. Next time I would like to go during the crab season ^_^thank you very much.

It was a very heartwarming time.I had such a happy trip that I don't think there is any other hotel that takes care of its guests so much.The customer service made me feel like I was someone close to the husband and landlady.This is my second time here, and I want to go again soon.My daughter said, ``I want to stay forever.''

I suddenly decided to drive to Kinosaki Onsen by myself. I was able to use the block discount for the separate room accommodation plan with breakfast, so I stayed at a very reasonable price.The reviews were extremely divided between high and low ratings, so I was a little worried, but it turned out to be the correct answer.As others have reviewed, the young proprietress has a bright and fun personality. When I heard about it, it was replaced several years ago and is now run by a husband and wife.The facility has a Showa-era feel, and at best it feels nostalgic, at worst it's old-fashioned, but the front area has been renovated and looks like a stylish cafe. Looks like I'll be making some changes in the near future. There is no bath in the room, but it was enough because you can go to Ichinoyu, Yanagiyu, and Jizoyu in 2 to 3 minutes on foot.It would be more enjoyable if you could stay a few nights with dinner included or without meals.

I stayed at Chinchurin a few years ago. No greetings, no room guidance, no keys...I was neck and neck with the person in the next room. Dinner is the wrong one, the Horakuyaki is filled with the same fish, and the room is full of centipedes and spiders. Even if you call the private bath with boiling water, it won't work. At the time of check-out, I answered the phone (in a terrible tone). Once you write it down, it will never end. A few years have passed, but I can't go to Kinosaki due to trauma.
