Used in 2022 Golden Week.◆RouteThere seem to be 3 routes to the campsite, but the roads are narrow and 2 routes are due to disasters? The road is closed. If you go up the road in front of the Towa Branch for a while, you will see a small waterfall on your left, and just after that, the campsite Nobori will be the landmark, and if you follow the narrow path, you will come to Natsumanuma.Climb up the paved road with Natsumunuma on your right, and after passing the trailhead of Mt. Kuchida, you will find a gravel road on your right that leads to the campsite.Be careful as it is almost impossible to pass each other from beyond the waterfall mentioned above.◆CampsiteIt is entirely sloped. The ground looks like a mix of grass and weeds. I feel like the limit is about 17 two-room tents. The entrance (upper side) and the back (lower side) are recommended as the slope is quite gentle. There is one toilet building, one kitchen building, and two permanent tarps where you can use BBQ etc. The toilet is Japanese style but clean. As long as it's not too crowded, you can drive in your car and park your tent next to it.Since this is a completely free site, I don't think you can reserve a specific location. It's good to go early.◆About bonfiresAt the moment, it can be used as long as you use a fire pit and protect the ground properly.◆OthersThere are no shops or vending machines inside the venue. There are no play equipment on the premises.I went to a nearby naughty plaza, but it was unmaintained and overgrown with grass, so I didn't feel like I could play there.I think it may be seasonal, but wild animal feces can be seen here and there. Please be careful as they seem to come in the middle of the night to eat the ingredients.◆OverviewThis is a campsite for locals. It's a great campground because it's cheap, there are no strict check-in and out times, and you can drive in.The site is surrounded by tall trees, so visibility is limited given the altitude, but it does provide some protection from the wind. It can be said that the wind is definitely weaker than the same municipal Hiyama campground. For those who want to enjoy a large tent and a bonfire, Natsunuma may be better.
