I always go there multiple times every year to try out all the types of dango. It's not mixed, so if you don't eat it the same day, it will become hard, but you can cook it well or steam it, so you can eat it until the next day, and sometimes use it as a substitute for rice, so I buy it in bulk.For cherry blossom viewing, prepare a pot of hot tea, buy enough dango to eat, and take a walk around Mt. Kaisei. I've been doing this ever since I was a child, and have lived for over 70 years. My parents said, ``A long time ago, there was a racetrack here.'' ``When I was in junior high school under the old system, I was older than my classmates because I graduated from the high school, and I didn't want to be sent home to collect the rent, so I spent a lot of time at Lake Isuzu. Today is a popular dango shop in the western part of Koriyama City that has been around for over 100 years and was even aired on TV.I went to buy Genpei Dango from Ryokan Genpei. The dango is made using the old-fashioned method without having to make it in advance.The dango is so delicious that it can only be made by hand.The dango was very soft, and the flavor of the strained red bean paste and soy sauce were both elegantly sweet, and I finished it in no time❗️ I went in the morning, but the store wasThere was always a line and I was glad I was able to buy it before it was sold out ⭐️P.S. Sales will end by April 30th this year.I bought the Nakayoshi set and ate it.The dumplings were still soft and delicious.I would like to look forward to Genpei Dango again next year, which will be available for a limited time☺️

I came here not for the overnight stay, but for the "Genpei Dango" that is only sold during this season.The chewy rice cake is soft and delicious, but in the past, the bean paste was bulky~😢

Genpei dango is a secret specialty of Koriyama. It's only available for a limited time, so be sure to give it a try. I'm a koshian fan. I bought some dumplings and ate them at Kaiseiyama Park across the street. The ultimate time.
