Since we opened in 2018, we have been going every year without fail.First, the cypress bath.Under the guidance of the host, Gusshi, you will experience heating a bath by putting chopped firewood into a wood boiler. The cypress bath you take after completing this experience feels great.Next is cooking.Under the guidance of the hostess, Chi-chan, you will experience cutting ingredients and frying foods. The food you will enjoy after completing this experience will be exquisite.I especially like the sticky potato and fried carrots. However, my favorite is the only type of fish that is meat, the horse mackerel.Dinner is served as sashimi, and breakfast is served as grilled fish.I personally recommend Kunugimasu because it is refreshing.Lastly, I would like to offer hospitality to the two of you.As expected, the two of them work together perfectly, and the atmosphere is really good.He has a very nice personality, and it is no exaggeration to say that he is the pinnacle of humanity.I think this is the reason why it is highly rated. That's why I go every year.I plan to visit many times in the future.

Paradise of Life This is an inn that I saw on TV and wanted to visit someday. I was finally able to go. And then I met the couple staying at the inn. Gussie goes around taking photos, boiling wood-fired baths, fireworks, trekking in valleys, giving shopping information, etc., and Chi-chan calmly and carefully teaches us how to make multigrain dishes. The two of them are a perfect combination, and it's an intense 2 nights and 3 days. was. It feels like you're soaking in the hot water of a cypress bath, and the effects gradually come on afterwards. I have a feeling that the day will come when I will go again.

Thank you for taking care of my family of 3. I learned about it after watching a TV program called Life's Paradise. We met at a fireworks shop called “Hanabikan” and met up with Gusshi! It's the real Gusshi! (lol)Purchase recommended fireworks! Next, we took a tour of the sake brewery and bought some sake as souvenirs! We have finally arrived at Hokkori-ya. When we arrived, Chii-chan welcomed us with a smile! It's real! (lol) After experiencing chopping wood and cooking cereals, I took a bath. The bath was made of cypress wood and you could see the mountains from the small window, which was very relaxing. For dinner, Gusshi-san and Chii-chan all came together. I enjoyed eating natural food without any junk. I felt that this was the original appearance of the Japanese dining table. All of the dishes were exquisite, and the carrot tempura and sticky millet potatoes that I made myself during the cooking experience were especially delicious. The meat-free hamburgers and trout sashimi were also delicious. A fireworks display will be held at night! They were completely different from the set fireworks sold at supermarkets, and I was able to fully enjoy the ingenious fireworks, which lasted a long time and enjoyed changing colors. Children will definitely love it! ! The soy sauce is also homemade, and Mr. Gusshi kindly explained it to us.I visited in the summer, and there weren't many stars that day, but it was still very beautiful and soothing. For breakfast, we were taught how to eat egg-cooked rice. The homemade umeboshi, kelp, and takuwan all had a gentle flavor that made me feel warm. The multi-grain rice and miso soup (suimono at night) were free to refill! In the morning, go out to the nearby river! We enjoyed a light trek across a suspension bridge and playing in the river. Even though it was September, the water was cold and felt nice. I returned to the hotel before noon and checked out. I also had a coffee roasting experience, but there seem to be a lot of reviews from other people, so I won't go into that.At this inn, Gussie-san and Chii-chan greeted us with smiles from start to finish, making it a ``warm-hearted'' inn as the name suggests. The interaction between Gussie-san and Chii-chan was so funny that it felt like I was staying at my parents' house. This is an inn filled with hospitality that is of a higher quality than any luxury hotel, where you can feel the warm consideration of the two of them. Please come and visit us.Thank you for reading this far.I would also like to create travel videos on YouTube.

I heated the cypress wood bath with firewood. It was a cold day, but I was sweating so much that I couldn't even put on my clothes.I roasted and ground my own organic coffee and drank it. I don't like coffee, but I had no problem drinking this coffee. The next morning, we took a walk in the valley, bathed in negative ions, and were moved by the loving photos taken by the owner, Gussie! You can feel that the old folk house is being taken care of and taken care of by us as guests, making it a truly pleasant stay. My heart is cleansed. The landlady's Tsubu-Tubu cooking is also extremely delicious. There's also a cheese flavor made from handmade Koshu Koume pickled plums and the soy milk yogurt that was on top of the tall millet hamburger steak. Everyone also enjoyed Gusshi's mustard dressing made with yuzu pepper. thank you very much. I'll visit you again.

I stayed here as a couple. We heated a bath with firewood, cooked a meal together, and enjoyed valuable experiences that felt like visiting a relative's house! My husband was hooked on the wood-chopping experience lolThey took lots of pictures, which made me happy as I don't usually take pictures of myself. I had a problem with not having enough photos of ourselves to use at the wedding, so I would definitely like to use them!Even I, who cannot drink black coffee, was able to drink the coffee that I roasted myself. I'm looking forward to drinking it at home!

Everything exceeded my expectations. Everything was wonderful, but the best part was that neither of them said a single negative word about their children. Even though I would normally have scolded them, the children were praised as a good thing, and the children were extremely energetic and became more motivated and confident. The children seemed to really enjoy themselves and were attached to the two of them as they were able to accept their thoughts and actions. As a parent, I learned a lot and was very moved. We had the most wonderful time as a family, including guided tours of mountain streams, fireworks, cooking, wood-splitting baths, healthy meals for every meal, and being photographed for everything. I'm really thankful to you. I'll visit you again.

My wife and I stayed here from December 24th to 25th of this year.I was able to spend a very relaxing and luxurious time.Chopping wood, roasting coffee, experiencing cooking, hiking, a spacious bath heated with firewood where you can stretch your legs, cooking delicious food that uses almost no seasonings, etc...During our stay, we were constantly taking photos and we were able to leave a lot of memories.I would recommend it to my family and friends, and my husband and I will be visiting again.(Two days after staying, it was decided that my mother would be staying next spring.)Thank you very much for the best Christmas memories.
