As others have written, it smells depending on the direction of the wind. Personally, it felt like an old public toilet. There was no odor in the morning and evening, so maybe it's a septic tank or sewage system...However, the children enjoyed camping as well.

Even if you make a reservation, if a place is available, you can use it. Although the weather was unfortunate, the children seemed to be having fun. The toilet is far away from the auto site. I want a shortcut to the convenience store ( ̄▽ ̄)

I used it on a Saturday and Sunday in early June. It wasn't too crowded so I had a comfortable time. It's also spacious and has plenty of play equipment, making it perfect for campers with children. As others have said, there is a smell depending on the wind direction. It's not the smell from the toilet, it's probably from a nearby farm, so it doesn't seem like it'll be okay if you move away from the toilet 😭Still, I don't think it will matter if you choose the location. Does the area near the playground equipment smell depending on the wind direction? There's a convenience store right in front, and a roadside station nearby. Next time I would like to go on a sunny day (preferably a day without too much wind)!

I came here for the first time during a three-day weekend in September with my family, children, friends, and family, about 14 people in total.Group camping is possible at the free sites if you get there early and secure a spot. The temperature was 5 degrees cooler than in the city, making it comfortable. The campsite is dotted with a lot of play equipment and is surrounded by a fence, so I felt safe letting my children play.Cars are not allowed at the free site, but there are carts so you can carry heavy luggage.Even if you make same-day reservations, it will probably not be full. You can also cancel on the day for free, so you can make a reservation if you feel like it, or cancel based on the weather. The showers are old and there is space above and below the changing rooms, so people who are nervous may not like it.However, it can be used from 6pm until the next morning, so families will be happy that it can be used all night and for free. There are two Japanese-style toilets and one Western-style toilet for men. It seems that cleaning is done once a day, but it is hard to say that it is hygienic. There may be a farm on the south side, but when the wind blows from the south, I can smell the compost. It didn't last all day because it depended on the wind direction, but it did bother me a little. It rained a lot, but if the weather cleared, you could see the big Mt. Fuji.Overall, I think this is a highly satisfying campground for families with children in the lower grades of elementary school.

Enticed by the play equipment, the entrance fee is 500 yen for adults, 300 yen for children, and 200 yen for infants.I didn't go in because I thought I wouldn't last more than 10 minutes on a hot summer day.But I guess it's reasonable when you're trying to manage play equipment. If it's cool and I can play slowly, I might enter...

I took my elementary school-aged children to this hotel for one night and two days on a weekday during summer vacation.Other families were using the free site, and the auto campsite was reserved.I chose the shade of a tree and the weather was a little cloudy, so it wasn't as hot as I expected and it was more comfortable. However, when I was building a bonfire in the evening wearing shorts and sneaker socks, I got bitten by several gnats. We recommend that you don't let your guard down and wear long pants and long socks. The kitchen has only a sink and no stove. The shower next door can be used free of charge during set hours, which is helpful. Both the changing room and the bathroom were about 1 tatami mat each, which was great because I was able to use them with my child. The toilet is a little far away.I only used the women's toilet, but there was one Japanese style and two Western style toilets, with a washlet and foam for wiping the toilet seat.Although there are insects, I think it's a comfortable toilet for a campsite. The campground is right next to the national highway, so you can hear quite a lot of trucks and cars passing by even at night. It also has a distinct farm smell, so it may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin.I don't know if the 7-Eleven across the road sells firewood, camping equipment, etc., although I don't know if it's open only in summer or all year round. The children were able to play on the many athletic fields and seemed to have a lot of fun.I'm glad that check-out is at 5pm, so you can relax.I would like to use it next time around autumn.

Used twice last year.Children have play equipment so they can have fun without getting bored. That's a good point. The shower is also included in the usage fee, so you can use it without having to limit your time like you would with a coin shower. The site is located along the road, so there is a bit of road noise, but the children were probably tired of playing and slept without worrying about the noise.Enjoy the beautiful Mt. Fuji while drinking coffee in the early morning.I was able to worship. The park is fenced, so even my wife, who is afraid of wild animals, was able to use it with peace of mind.I will use it again!
