Located in the heart of canggu and few steps away from canggu shortcut, it’s a good place to stay if you’re want to explore berawa & canggu area.Surrounded by rice field and away from main street, it’s very relaxing & quiet at night. The pool was clean, room got cleaned everyday and there’s a communal area for cook and eat. Parking lot also available for cars & bikes, even you can rent bike through receptionist for a reasonable price.Wifi pretty reliable and room quite big, nothing to complain about. Thank you Frangipani!

I’ll start with the good things: The location is great, pretty close to everything and the staff is friendly and helpful.
But, the rooms were not very clean, lots of dust and spider web. And bed linen had stains and was grayish in colour.

Very dissapointing stay. When we came (and majority of the time actually) staff was seating on the floor behind the reception almost like hiding, then there were countless stains on the bedding. They changed when requested but new sheets also had stains, just less of them. Towels also look pld and greyish. How hard is it to simply replace towels and bedding? Throw the old stained one away and buy new ones. However, the major dissapointment was the moldy smell in the room which makes the whole experience just unpleasent.

Warning: Disappointing Stay - Don't let the reviews from a year ago and photos fool you. NOISE since 7am, also We encountered hair in the bathroom and stains on the sheets upon arrival, but decided to give it a chance due to the price. The real issue arose after we paid to extend our stay due to flight changes. Putu, posing as the owner, imposed a new, unacceptable booking condition on us. His response to our request for a solution was rude and dismissive, suggesting we "check out today" if unhappy. It became clear that Putu, likely just a manager with an inflated sense of entitlement, had no interest in guest satisfaction, forcing us to leave early. The deceptive low cost isn't worth the hassle and poor treatment. Owners or management should take note of Putu's detrimental impact on their business. Other staff were nice during our stay, yet shocked at his own colleague attitude as he was on speakerphone while telling us all this - Consider other options before booking here. Check thousands of better options around the corner :)

Very nice, clean place with a lovely garden and amazing, helpful staff. The hotel is very close to busy street with beautiful cafes and restaurants, but it’s very quiet and relaxing. There is also common kitchen area which is very useful if you want to prepare some food or just relax. I would definitely book again if I would stay in Canggu :)

Me and my partner stayed here for a bit more than a month and we had a great time. Putu was very helpful with everything and also the other staff of Frangipani were doing their very best to make us feel comfortable. The house is located in the middle of Canggu but a bit away from the main road. It's surrounded by rice fields, so it's also very quiet. The best place to get the best of the hustle and bustle of Canggu, but also peace and quiet to relax.

As far as guest houses go (private room, shared kitchen), this was the best value in Canguu. It’s a little ways down a side street so you can’t hear the traffic on Batu Bolong. Ideally you’d want to book a room with a nice view. The staff will bend over backwards and do everything for you. The other guests are friendly from all over the world, usually in their mid-20s. Most affordable place I found. WiFi is good most of the time. I’ll always miss the soft knock on the door, “I clean your room?”

Locally owned guest house. The rooms are clean, new and the 2nd floor has rocefield views. I like it because it also faces North East meaning that I sleep with the drapes open and I can walk up with the morning sunrise. It would be ideal if they had a window on the back side of the room as the wind flow would give it ventilation. It's OK as each room has AC but if there was a window on the opposite wall, I would keep the doors open and turn the AC off ... no big deal but I would be nice if

The staff at Frangipani make it so special, and superior to anything else similar in the area! They are so kind, thoughtful and easy-going. You will enjoy your stay for sure! It's in a perfect location, close to the beach and all the Canguu attractions. 5 Stars!!
