I have received it several times so far. It's an old inn, but I liked the hot springs and food. However, it seems that it has been closed since December 2023.I wonder if it won't restart again. . . . It's a shame.

Although it is not written on the website, it seems that day trip bathers will not be accepted for the time being.

You can feel the feeling of a secret hot spring on the narrow mountain path leading to the inn.The parking lot is shared, and the closest parking lot has about 5 spaces, so we recommend getting there early. You have to go down about 40 narrow stairs to get to the entrance, so I don't think it's suitable for people with walking problems.Although it is undeniable that the inn is old, you can feel that they have tried to keep the interior clean. There are two baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and the genders change depending on the time of day, and the baths are mixed at night. There are only two washing areas in each bathroom, but the hot springs have multiple temperatures, which is unusual, and I felt comfortable. There was a large selection of meals for both breakfast and dinner, and the sukiyaki beef for dinner was especially delicious. The landlady seemed like a nice person, and the coffee I had when I checked out was delicious.

There is no private parking lot at the inn, there is only a communal parking lot at Akagi Onsen. It is quite crowded with day trip bath users until around 4pm. There's no manager, so you have no choice but to go to an empty space 💦 From there, it seems like it's about 100 meters down the stairs to the inn. When I arrived at the inn, I shouted loudly but no one came, and I was not welcomed as if I had come here (I wanted a call button), so I wrote my name in the inn's book in a dimly lit small room. Which room is this person in? I was mechanically guided by Mr. Nakai, a surly man who didn't even smile as he screamed in front of me. There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was extremely hot and he was sweating, but Mr. Nakai was unable to operate the air conditioner. I thought I should pay and go home, but I headed to the open-air bath instead. It's crowded with day trip bathers who bring their own drinking water, but if you wait patiently, you'll end up with only overnight guests. It's a wonderful carbonated spring. The food is also very delicious. The yam chawan mushi is wonderful. I was thrilled to see the beautiful fifth-generation young proprietress at the restaurant. It would have been full marks if the young proprietress had served the customers from the beginning😢. The landlady was also a wonderful person.

I'm using it for a day trip to a hot spring, but the retro-looking weight scale catches my eye.The upper tier of the open-air bath is normal, and the lower tier is lukewarm water, and the tepid bath is almost like a cold bath at Garameki Onsen, so you can easily enjoy Garameki hot springs without that harsh process.

An endless loop of hot and lukewarm water with a waterfall flowing right next to the open air. I thought the quality of the spring water was similar to that of a public bath in Nagayu. It's the best. View from the room BGM of the flowing river and the sounds of wild birds. Food is good and rooms are also good. I was healed.

The bathroom has decorations like a five-story pagoda, which gives it a quaint feel. A waterfall flows outside, and the tranquility and beautiful scenery washes your soul.It was a hot spring that I wanted to take some time to soak in.
