This is a review after camping with my family.The view from the square in front of the main building is wonderful. It would be great if you could pitch your tent in the open space, but the tent site is located in a forest and you cannot expect a great view from there, so if you want to camp while enjoying the open feeling of the Kokonoe Plateau, it would be better to choose somewhere else.On the day we went, there were no guests staying in the main building, and there was no atmosphere to enjoy a quiet camping experience, so I think it's best to stay in the main building or lodge and have fun.

I did a lot of research beforehand and was curious about it, so I finally found this!Four families (6 adults and 6 children ages 1 to 12) rented the main lodge.When I first went there, I was a little nervous as I was passing through several houses, wondering if I was right here. Continuing forward, you will find several lodges on top of a small hill, with well-kept lawns ahead.I brought along a barbecue stove and chairs, but even if I rented it, it was still cost-effective, and I had everything I needed such as plates, chopsticks, and a rice cooker, so next time I think I'll just bring the ingredients with me. Masu. You can also throw away your garbage if you separate it properly for 300 yen, which is helpful for families who tend to carry a lot of luggage.The children are excited about which bed they will sleep in in each room. In the evening, I went to a nearby hot spring.The owner was very kind and it was a wonderful lodge where I would like to go out with multiple families again!

In addition to being cheap as you can stay for only 700 yen per adult, the view of the mountains is amazing, and the management was very polite and helpful!It's smaller and more private than other campgrounds.Recommended for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet!The negative points are that the site is made of black soil, and there seemed to be a lot more insects than other campsites, so I gave this review!

The other day, at the end of a 10-day mountain trek, I went camping at Kaze no Oka at the foot of Mt. Kokonoe.I had planned to stay for one night on the day of the visit, but I was so fascinated by the location that I ended up staying for several nights!Sitting on the well-kept lawn and just looking at the Kusumi Mountain Range in front of you...What a luxury! This is bliss!The two days I was healed and detoxed by the atmosphere, the sunrise, the sunset, and the owner's personality.I think it's difficult for a couple to manage such a large property and lodge, but I hope they can continue to operate it for many years to come.Thank you for the luxurious time! ! I hope to visit you again soon! !

This is a luxurious campsite that only takes reservations for 4 groups per day.And the price is way too low.It's run by a husband and wife team, and it's great to see how good the people are.The morning coffee while looking at the Kokonoe mountains is truly the best.It's a very good campsite.Not a crowded campRecommended for veteran campers who want to camp in a relaxed manner ✨✨

The Kameda brothers were born in Oita. I currently live in Fukuoka, but I climb the mountains of Kokonoe once or twice a year with my brother who lives in Oita. This time I stayed at Kaze no Oka, owned by Kameda, who shares the same last name. If we trace our ancestors, we might have the same roots. Time stopped for a while as I watched the mountains of Kokonoe bathed in the sunset in a wonderful location. I talked with my brother (I like this place next time too❗). Owner Kameda I would like to talk to you again.

I stayed in a bungalow.The terrace has a roof and a net to keep out insects, and the clean chairs and tables were very helpful.Especially recommended for beginners with children and those who don't want a tent!It just so happened that we were able to hear a wonderful performance at the main building, and it was a very memorable camp! I definitely want to go again!
