I stayed here for a long time about a year ago.My first impression was how cheerful the proprietress was.The food was delicious!I looked forward to every meal!Once you get used to it, the landlady will be likeAs I say to my mother, "What's for dinner tonight?"I heard that (lol)Dinner always includes sashimi, made fresh every day.You can eat fish. Not only the landlady but also the chef (?)I'm pretty good at cooking.think! It was a very homey inn. There are about 5 washing machines and a place to dry them.there was.It was great to be able to do laundry whenever I wanted without having to go to the laundromat! If you buy detergent, the washing machine usage fee will be reduced. It was free. The cleaning is not done properly, so I feel uncomfortable. That never happened. When I go to Matsuura again for work,I definitely want to stay here!thank you very much!

Most inns of this type include tax, but this one does not include tax. 4,500 yen + tax for a room without meals, 6,500 yen + tax for two meals, 6,000 yen + tax for dinner only. There are no towels, yukatas, or toothbrushes. The bath is smaller than the baths in private homes these days. The toilet is extremely narrow with strange beams sticking out. Dinner is a plate of three slices of sashimi, grilled fish, chicken, pork, or beef, and the variety seems to vary each day. Wi-Fi is difficult for videos, but OK for email and web browsing. The TV in the room was extremely small and had a poor picture quality, sometimes not showing anything. The rooms are non-smoking and you can smoke in the hallway, and the washroom, refrigerator, and microwave are in the hallway, so when you step out of the room to use it, the hallway smells like cigarettes and you can smell the smoke from people smoking. There are 5 washing machines that you can use for free and there is a place to dry them, but you will have to pay for detergent, so you need to prepare it. There is a key inside the room, but there is no key from the outside, so keep your valuables safe at all times. The walls are thin and you can hear people walking in the hallway. There is no parking lot. You will be asked to park in a vacant lot across the road, but it seems that other cars in the neighborhood are also parked there, so it is very small. I've been working in a job that requires a lot of traveling for over 20 years, and I've been to many rural areas, but I've never stayed at many hotels like this, and even if I did, the proprietress of those hotels was old and no longer prepared meals. More and more hotels are offering cheap or super cheap prices instead. As long as the inn calls itself a ryokan rather than a guesthouse, there are at least towels, yukatas, and toothbrushes provided, even if you don't use them, and at least the inn itself is kept clean even if it is old. Considering the above, I think it's rather expensive, so no matter how you look at it, I'm giving it one star. It seems that this is an inn run by the Matsuura Landlady's Association, but I can't help but feel that it is a bit more expensive compared to similar inns in other rural areas, but it was not as expensive as this inn. In fact, this was the first time I stayed at an inn that made me want to write about it, but I don't think I'll ever stay there again.I apologize for the length, but I just wanted to simply state the facts.
