Proceed through the entrance of the ruined inn to the lobby, go down the stairs to the basement, and open the shoji screens to find a large tatami hall that used to be a banquet hall. The reception and accounting offices are also located in the large hall in the basement. You will have to write your name and number of people on a piece of paper and wait in line. The waiting room is on the upper floor near the entrance to the stairs, but your name will be called out from below using a microphone and a loudspeaker in the waiting room.The large hall is a nostalgic space from the Showa era.I ordered Mizusawa udon and hot pot stew udon.The udon noodles were very chewy, went down easily, and were very delicious.

My girlfriend said, ``I want to go to Ikaho Onsen❣️,'' so we came to eat there while we were staying over. The staff were all very friendly, and the restaurant, which was styled like an old folk house, had a nice aroma of dashi soup. Great taste, great atmosphere ❣️

This udon restaurant is housed in an inn building, with the entrance going underground. (The entrance looks like THE inn)It's an old building that is still in use, so when you say retro, it's retro, and it feels a little dark.I had the mushroom hotpot udon, and I was excited because it was prepared right in front of me on the stove.However, since it was a very hot day, I thought that chilled udon would be good, but the chilled menu was gravy udon. There was only one, and all the others were hotpot udon, so it might be difficult to choose a menu in the summer.The mushroom hotpot udon was very delicious with various kinds of mushrooms in it.

It was offered to customers who arrived after waiting for more than 30 minutes due to missing orders. When I said that, I was given time. I didn't say sorry for keeping you waiting. I won't go again.

I had the mori udon with two colors of soup.It was so delicious! ! ! !It feels like a hidden gem and it’s great ◎It was also nice to have it inside the inn.

It's a nice atmosphere with a warm welcome from the staff.The entrance is just one street away, and you can go down to the first basement floor from inside, so it's a quiet place to eat.It was refreshing and interesting to have the drums beat for each guest to let them know that they had come downstairs, saying, ``Thank you...''.I ordered gravy udon.I was told, ``The soup is very hot, so be careful,'' but since the noodles are dipped in the piping hot soup, the temperature is just right.The sweet soup soaked up the flavor of the fried tofu and it was delicious.I ordered the udon here because the dinner at the hotel seemed to be a lot, but I would like to try the nabe udon next time I visit.It was raining that day, but on the way back I was glad that someone called out to me, saying, ``It's raining, isn't it? Please be careful.''

I was very satisfied with the atmosphere and the delicious udon noodles that you can only experience at a destination! It is located on B1 of the inn, so please be careful if you have difficulty using stairs.
