The reason I gave the service 4 stars is because they currently don't serve food. Youth is revived. I visited for the first time in 47 years, and although the building is much prettier, most of it is the same as before, and I had a dream-like time trip.

A timeless place that took me into another world at the very end of Japan. Staying at Momoiwasou is a unique and wonderful experience! It is not a place to spend the night but rather a place of common life in which we share the different moments of the day with other residents. As long as you speak at least a little Japanese, this is a place you absolutely have to go to if you're in the area.

202407 Stayed for a relaxing weekWake up at 5 a.m., get dropped off at Secoma before 6 a.m., buy compressed lunch from Momoiwaso or buy Secoma lunch, eat Secoma rice balls instead of breakfast, get on the bus and go to the starting point, 8 hours (8 hour course) +Rebun forest road combination course) and the Cape Meguri course trekking.Dinner is eaten every night at a number of standard restaurants in Kafuka, and we also take a bath in Usuiyuki-no-Yu twice, looking at Mt. Rishiri, taking a relaxing bath in the sauna, and then taking the 18:15 dinner flight back from Kafuka to Momoiwaso.Participated in a meeting every night that started around 7pm (it's free to participate. By the looks of it, more than 90% of the participants participated. MOTTAINAI has to honestly and seriously enjoy the time with the helpers who are doing their best!!)Lights off at 10pmEnjoy a very regular everyday lifeWake up early → Trekking → Local food → Hot spring → Meeting → Lights outAll guests in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s were there. The number of people in their 20s may increase during the summer vacation season.I wanted to go again! !

An unwavering youth hostel that maintains its traditional style. There may be pros and cons to it in light of the current times, but both users and staff are fully aware of this. The detailed schedule, from waking up to the loud ``Ishikari Elegy,'' to famous meetings, to bedtime, is not suitable for spending time at one's own pace, but it can be said to be a fun time if you can make it. Also, I think people who get hooked will be hooked on it because it has an atmosphere that is friendly and accepting of all kinds of people. However, there are times when it feels ``disgusting.''There were regular customers who couldn't read the atmosphere and gave lectures to new customers in a bossy way, and people who didn't fit in with the atmosphere at Momoiwaso were harshly criticized for not being in the mood, and cute girls. There was a grumpy old man who ganged up on the staff...Also, the regular customers tend to make silly mounts about how old they are or how long they've been staying there, and while I think Momoiwaso itself is a nice inn, I'm addicted to Momoiwaso. I also feel that it is true that there are many unfortunate adults who cannot graduate from Momoiwaso. (Perhaps these people are so anxious to talk about themselves that they don't really listen to what other people have to say, so they can't seem to hold a conversation.)However, if you can enjoy the atmosphere of Momoiwaso without having to interact with such disappointing regular customers, you are sure to have a memorable time.I also think it's unnecessary, but it seems that some people have been working as helpers (staff) for many years, probably because they enjoy their time at Momoiwaso. I'm a little worried about their future.

This is a very famous accommodation facility on Rebun Island. This is a youth hostel, which is rare these days. This means that only the guests carefully selected by the inn can use this facility. Some people are suited to the hospitality here, and some are not, so some stay for a long time, while others leave right away. It seems that the workers here come from all over the country. Anyway, if you want to talk about it, why not try it out at least once?Is it up to you whether you get hooked or not? !

A facility that people either like or dislike. If you use it out of curiosity, it will cause inconvenience to other guests and staff. There is no private space except inside the bedroom. Also, there is no private time other than bedtime. The facility is clean. It's a flush toilet.
