I drove 5 hours from Kansai to visit during the Obon holiday. From the time I made the reservation over the phone, they were kind and courteous, and since it was a large family camping event, including my father who lives in Hiroshima, and my daughter and her husband, they gave us advice and made it a very enjoyable and comfortable camping experience. Ta.It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to climb up a mountain road, so those who get car sick should be careful. There is a temperature difference of about 4 to 5 degrees from the lower part of the world, so even in midsummer it is cool, albeit humid. Light long sleeves are a must at night. When I went to the reception, they explained everything about the campsite and it was easy to understand. In order to get to the campsite, you have to take off the rope yourself and walk through it, but other reviews have said, ``I would like to see improvements...'', but personally, I think that's why I can use it with peace of mind. I did.Unfortunately, we had to rent two plots because there were five of us pitching three tents and a tarp...Two of the three tents were solo tents, so we were able to fit everything into one plot (it can't be helped due to the regulations...)When the sun went down, a cold wind blew from the mountains and it felt very nice. The campers from other sites had gone to bed at 10pm when the lights were off, so we wanted to see the stars, so we talked quietly and saw several shooting stars, and fell asleep just as the date changed. It was so quiet during the night that my husband's snoring could be heard throughout the campsite.I woke up at 5:30 in the morning, but no one from any of the sites had woken up yet, no one was talking loudly or playing music, and the campground was full of really well-mannered people. The toilet is a botton toilet where you can't see the bottom, but it was clean and there was no smell at all. There is a simple common water supply near the site, so I didn't have to worry about water.Walk for 8 minutes to Koboji Temple, and the view of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea from there was amazing! The guy at the reception gave us detailed directions! There is Noro Kogen Lodge 2-3 minutes away by car, and you can take a bath there for 320 yen, but it is only available from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, so that was the only disappointment! (I want to take a bath in the morning lol)You can see the night sky to your heart's content, and the Milky Way is perfect!I saw 10 shooting stars in one hour.I was able to spend a really relaxing time, so I made another reservation for the year-end and New Year holidays.Cell phone reception is bad so I can't get through the site! When I got to the reception desk, there were 3 of them.I live in Kansai, so it's not easy to visit, but I would like to use it before I go back to Hiroshima.Definitely a repeat purchase!
