It's close to downtown and has a nice view.People who are concerned about the sound of cars running on nearby roads may be concerned. The bottom is gravel, so it will be painful if you don't bring a proper thick sheet. You can easily hit the pegs if you go to the layer below. Also, the staff are business-oriented and a bit unfriendly (lol).

Since the site is level, you can spend your time without worrying too much about your neighbors. Drinking alcohol while looking at the beautiful night view is the best ^ ^There are pros and cons to having gravel on the ground, but I like it because it doesn't stain camping equipment such as tables. Pegging was easy.

There was torrential rain in the afternoon and a thunderstorm in the evening, but it was a fun camp!

Used G site solo on 8/15.The view of Sakudaira was nice, but unfortunately the clouds prevented us from seeing the Tateshina Mountain Range and Mt. Yatsugatake. However, the night view was perfect, and we even got to see fireworks in the distance that day!The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the kitchen behind the administration building has hot water, and the toilets are small (1 small, 1 large, and 2), but they are clean.Firewood is also reasonably priced at 500 yen for hardwood wood.I'd like to visit again in the fall and winter when the air is clear, hoping to enjoy the scenery!

The location is great! The night view looks good at many sites, and the sense of distance is just right, neither too far nor too close to the mountains. Each site is large, so you can set up with plenty of space! If you go too far into the mountains, you'll be scared of bears, deer, and monkeys...I don't think there are many places where you can drink draft beer or craft beer!If you like alcohol or whiskey, the Komoro Distillery is nearby, with its state-of-the-art equipment and appearance, and you can even tour it after it's set up.

The campsite was a little too close to town. Access to shopping and bathing is great (I've become a fan of Tsuruya. PB's grape juice is actually grapes, which is better than wine. I'm also addicted to apple juice). Encounter a cute tree frog and sawtooth stag beetle. Beetles were also flying around. You can't go into the surrounding forest much, so it's not suitable for looking for insects. At night, we were blessed with good weather, so we were able to enjoy the starry sky. The staff was very kind, and it was nice to be able to get draft beer for 300 yen.

I came solo to see the distillery at Komoro Distillery, which is right next to this campsite. If I came by car by myself and drank alcohol, I wouldn't be able to go home, but I was thrilled to find such a good campground right next to it😭I checked in early and enjoyed overnight solo camping at K site☺️✨I think the view from the other side would be better, but I was able to enjoy the night view of Komoro from my own website. The facilities were well-equipped and I thoroughly enjoyed camping 🥰However, there was nothing to block the sun when we were leaving, so it seemed better to pack up the tents and tarps at the end.
