This is a guesthouse. Room only is provided. The room is clean and the bathroom toilet is also good. The pajamas are very comfortable and nice to the touch. However, it is a bit far from Hapjangchon. It may seem a bit far to walk. Since there are no stores around, I recommend stopping by a convenience store to get some food. There are two rooms on the first floor and one room on the second floor. I stayed on the first floor, but there was noise between floors. There is no TV. WiFi is provided.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from Gassho Village, which is difficult for tourists who don’t have a car to carry suitcases. If you take the bus, you can get off at Hatogaya and walk there, which is very convenient. There are delicious yakiniku restaurants and high-priced tonkatsu restaurants within a four-minute walk. There is a supermarket ten minutes away, so you don’t have to worry about running out of food at night. The room is spacious and clean, with many sockets and hot water and heating. Overall, highly recommended👍🏼

Winter might be a bit difficult for both non-snow experts and people to need to walk with luggage(s).The room, bed, amenities are good. Love that they have many power outlets, plus there are USB and USB-C.However, heater/ aircon is not working as good as some other hotel. It stoped working after operating for about 3 hours. May be it was me not familiar with.Overall, it was a nice stay, quite and comfy.

Although it blends into a quiet residential area, it is an elegant white building that can be recognized at a glance.Perfect for a relaxing night. There is no TV in the room, which is a good thing. There is no bathtub, only a shower, so it might not be a good idea for people who can't tolerate that, but there is a hot spring facility just a short drive away, so if you use that, you'll be fine.

Super cozy and clean place. In addition, the rooms are large and spacious, something difficult to find in Japan. The hotel/apartment has independent check-in, with a password. It is a 20 minute walk from the main street, but the walk is beautiful and worth the walk.I recommend it.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the village. It's quite a distance away, but there's a convenience store nearby that's open until 9pm, and above all, the distance to the village is so pretty that I don't regret staying here. The accommodation is clean and tidy. There is no TV, but wifi is provided.

Feb 2023.. ❄️❄️The welcoming fresh scent of wood filled the lobby when we entered the mint 2-storey building. There are 3 rooms on each floor. Upper floor is accessible by staircase only, so take note if you're traveling with heavy bags or has mobility concerns.A small carpark (free) is adjacent to the building. No reception desks so check-in on your own. Rooms are reasonably sized, decor/facilities I would say overall it's better than budget inns. In fact the photos put up by the owner here are accurate. We arrived on a snowy evening. Good thing we could drive the vehicle close to the entrance so there's no need to drag heavy luggages in the thick snow. Speaking of thick snow, next morning the building owner/staff woke early to plough the driveway and clear overnight snow from our car. We really appreciated his kind gesture! If you're particular about bathrooms and toilets as I am. Read on, else skip this paragraph. The fancy toilet pops it's cover automatically, seats are heated, bidet shoots warm jets and the "aim" is adjustable. The shower water pressure is strong. Hot water takes a few seconds to come on and when it does, it's very hot. The bathroom is so clean even the tile grouting is spotless. I don't know why but I noticed newer hotels have no cloths hanger/hooks in the bathroom. The bed is ok but the pillow is way too soft and limp to offer any head support. Regardless some of us managed to rest, perhaps because it was so bloody cold outside. Most visitors to Shirakawa would prefer to spend the night at a Ryokan. But some of my family members were more keen on a no frills hotel, so I'm actually quite glad that this place exists for travellers like us.

The weather is below zero and the hot water is low, the old board is not expensive, the house is not recommended /// There is no hot water in the subzero weather, the president is not responsible, this house is strongly not recommended ////영하 I want to see you, I want to see you 않습니다///There is no hot water in sub-zero weather, and the boss is not responsible, so I strongly recommend not to order this place
