Second visit. An inn where you can take a bath, which is not typical of a guesthouse in a good way.Stayed in mid-September with half board. The room is an old-fashioned Japanese-style room, but it is clean and well-maintained.The tatami mats were also new and clean. When you enter the inn, the landlady will come to greet you and show you how to take a bath.In the evening, you can reserve 40 minutes and write your desired time on a whiteboard. In the morning, you can borrow it every 30 minutes. The bath I was looking forward to was only open-air, but it was spacious and comfortable.Unfortunately, it was raining, but since the open-air bath has a roof, you can comfortably bathe without getting caught in the rain.Dinner was salt-grilled duck and sweetfish, and the best part was a pot with bear meat.I had eaten bear meat once in Kiyosato, but this was my first experience eating it in a hot pot.The meat was a bit muscular, but it had a good flavor, and there was no odor that you often hear about, so it was easy to eat 😋The portions are quite satisfying, and you can serve as much rice and miso soup as you like.Breakfast is the usual basic Japanese cuisine, but the service also comes with coffee and dessert. This is one of the hotels I would like to visit again.

A small, old-fashioned guest house◎Isn't it nice and clean for an accommodation with a shared refrigerator and shared toilet? The room has also been cleaned, so be careful if you open the window as a large number of stink bugs will invade! Well, stink bugs and duct tape are standard equipment at mountain inns, so please refrain from using them if you can't afford them. For dinner, bear meat hotpot was served, and for better or worse, it was easy to eat, with no taste or chewiness, probably because it had been simmered for a long time. The hot springs can only be reserved for private use, and there are 3 washing areas and 1 large open-air bath made of stone with a roof.Although it is a colorless and transparent circulating hot spring, I felt that it was a little inconvenient that there was only one bath. The location itself is deep above the water, so it's very quiet.Personally, I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for the inconvenience of the bath.Even though it's Golden Week, the cost performance seems good and I recommend it.

I stayed on New Year's Day with the idea that I could use the open-air bath for private use.The room was a Japanese-style room with only an air conditioner, so it was extremely cold when I turned it off before going to bed. Also, the walls are thin, so you can hear the sounds of walking in the hallway and the voices of small children. The spring quality is clear and colorless, and it is a circulating hot spring with almost no odor.It seems like it can accommodate about 20 people. The location is great and you can rent it out for a relaxing and luxurious time while listening to the sound of the river. Please make a reservation on the whiteboard before entering. The hours are generally fixed for evening and morning, but you can enter at other times as well. However, it seems that there is no hot water in the washing area. For dinner, we had river fish, wild game hotpot, and smoked duck meat, all of which were well seasoned and very delicious. Satisfied with the quantity! In the morning, we had salmon, natto, and hot spring eggs, which were not luxurious, but we were satisfied.By the way, you can enjoy as much refills as you like for breakfast, dinner, and miso soup.It seems to be run by a couple. The hostess was friendly and easy to talk to.The customer base was mostly families, many of whom were interested in skiing. The accommodation fee is a little high considering the content, probably because it's a special day.But it was a good stay.

This is the closest inn to Yagizawa Dam.The bath is open-air. There is no indoor bath. There is something special about soaking in a hot spring while looking at the fresh greenery and autumn leaves. Also, my wife's home cooking is exceptional.

Baths can only be reserved for private use, and each room is reserved for 30 minutes.Although the inn is showing its age, I am satisfied with the service.
