While touring the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, a staff member at the Nunagawa campus told me about Yamanoie Cafe.I had a plate of quiche and white peach sorbet, and it was very delicious. It was a very healthy and delicious lunch! The taste is finished so that it doesn't interfere with the ingredients, and sometimes the ingredients are given a punch. I thought he was very good at addition and subtraction. (That seems bossy...sorry)The peach sorbet is even more peach than peach! ! It was.It was really delicious.

The breakfast set meal of one soup and three dishes was a different experience from everyday life, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing trip. It's a fun space to visit with a group. It was the perfect place to be as a base in a city full of art.

It's conveniently located, just 5 minutes walk from the station.
It seems that the husband and wife are designers, and they live in two locations from Tokyo, operating irregularly on weekends.
However, as other people have written, the wife here has quite a habit, and even though she is just having a normal conversation
"Didn't I say that earlier???"
"Isn't that so?"
"I'm sorry, but I don't know how to interact with you.", he said, deviating from the common sense attitude that an inn would have when meeting a guest for the first time, let alone a guest. There were so many things he said and did that made me feel really bad. I tried to act in a way that didn't displease this lady as much as possible.
This is the first time I've traveled all over the country and had such a bad experience.
This is the worst word.
Because I'm a designer, I may have some quirks. . And it's well beyond what's allowed.
I don't want to see him again, and I told my colleagues who are based in Matsudai that they should never go, that it would only make them feel bad.
In Matsudai, there are a lot of really warm and wonderful people, such as the staff at the tourist information center and the taxi drivers, so you don't have to go out of your way to stay at an inn that is run by people from Tokyo. I think it's better to stay at a guest house run by locals, so you can return home with fond memories of your trip.
I am posting this in the hope that more people will not feel the same way as me.
