This is my second visit after several years since 2020.We used a cottage for 6 people. It's close to the Meihan National Highway, easy to get to from the city, you can hear the sound of the river, and most things you might need are sold at the administration building. It's a pleasant campsite. The river is shallow and it seems safe to go inside as long as it's daylight. There was a built-in LED lantern in the cottage for 6 people, but it was a one-way lantern that made you feel uneasy after early fall when it gets dark early, so it seems better to bring your own lantern from early fall onwards. .You can also rent a mat for your sleeping bag for 200 yen, but it was worn out and flimsy, so it might be a good idea to bring your own as well.Inside the cottage for 6 people, there is electricity, water (I remember it being underground water), and a gas stove with hot water. There is hand soap, but no dish detergent, sponges, or a refrigerator. You will need to manage your own hygiene there. There is also a pleasant hot spring called "Sarubino Onsen" about 20 minutes away by car, but cars are not allowed to enter or leave the premises after 9:00 pm, so if you plan to have a barbecue, etc., you will need to arrive early. There were more and more people with children, so it felt a little more lively than the quiet campsite it used to be, but it's a pleasant campsite with a variety of services designed for solos, duos, and families. .I will use it again.

We used the day camp site.It was used by a family and one car could be parked alongside, making unloading and unloading very easy. The site is large enough to set up a two-room tent, and I think it is suitable for family camping and group camping. The river is flowing on the left side of the photo, but there is a step about 2.5m, so you have to be careful not to fall. Also, there is a river flowing next to the site, where you can play in the river. The river is shallow and has a gentle flow, so even small children can play safely. However, the stairs leading down to the river are steep and can be a little dangerous even for adults, so you need to be careful. Also, since other users use the same stairs, there were cases where people came near the site or passed cars, and people who were playing in the river came into the site, so if you are concerned about that. I think you should be careful.

We stayed in a cottage! At Serena, you could pull up next to the cottage, it was cheap to put in and take out your luggage, the toilets and kitchen were close by, you could play in the river before checking in, and it was cool with few insects! It was cool next to the cottage without having to pitch a tent ⛺️ The river also had many shallow waters, so even a 2-year-old child had fun playing in it! ٩( 'ω' )و The stars looked beautiful at night! However, there is a set lights-out time, so I was busy checking in at 2pm, preparing for meals, going to Sarubi Onsen, taking a bath, returning, watching fireworks, etc. 😔💭 It might be possible to take your time with an early check-in. Hmm 💦 But it was a lot of fun! !
