It had a retro atmosphere and was perfect for a solo traveler. The egg-cooked rice and miso soup for breakfast were delicious! It's about a 20 minute walk straight from Ueda Station, and I was able to enjoy Yanagimachi on the way.

A truly good old ryokan. The Japanese-style room is calming and I appreciate the hostess's attentiveness. For dinner, we were very happy to be shown around a local restaurant. I want to come again next year.

Used to participate in Ueda Wasshoi. The building and rooms themselves are really old. However, it has a nostalgic feel to it, and I personally liked it quite a bit. (I think they choose their customers)The rooms are old, but they are well-maintained, and the breakfast is homemade and delicious. It's a little far from Ueda Station and Ueda Castle, but I think it's perfect if you want to take a walk and sightsee around the town.

Although it is an old building, it was spacious enough and I slept well. There is a bath on the second floor where each person can take a bath, and although it is shared, it is nice that each person is in a comfortable bath. There is also a parking lot in front.

I used it for business on a weekday night. The car was parked in a free parking lot near the hotel. In short, the impression is Showa retro. The equipment is showing its age, but on the other hand, it had a good taste. I felt a deep sense of nostalgia as I remembered the family trips we took during the Showa era when I was young. Also, the room and bathroom were well-cleaned and did not give the impression of being unclean. The WiFi in the room seemed a little slow, but it wasn't an inconvenience. Our plan included breakfast, but it felt like ``this is Japanese breakfast'' and it was delicious.Although it is a little far from Ueda Station, it is a short walk to Yanagimachi, so I would like to use it again when staying in Ueda.

That's right. This is an old-fashioned inn. The bath was also nice ♪ I can sleep soundly. The older sister at the dormitory was also kind, and I wonder if she was her mother? He will tell you a lot about Ueda in Nagano♪This is the path taken during Sankin-Kotai. etc. They are kind people

The inn was kind and the food was very delicious. The miso soup was really delicious. Although the building itself is not new, it is kept neat and clean. There is also Wifi. There was a toothbrush, towel, and hand towel in the room. Apparently you can rent a hair dryer at the reception, but there was a hair dryer installed on each floor. I stayed in a room with a unit bath, but there was also a room without. The washroom and toilet (unit bath) were in the room. The bath at the inn itself is home-sized, but shampoo and body soap are provided. It seems that there is also a family bath in a different building. There is Hokkoku Kaido Yanagimachi in the surrounding area, and the old townscape was wonderful. It's a 20 minute walk to Uedashi Station, and I think it's even closer to Ueda Castle. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store a short walk away. It was a home-style breakfast, but it was all delicious. The miso in the miso soup had a good taste, but it was mild and gentle.
