20241016 "Uruoikan". Used for day trips. Opening hours 10:00-23:00, closing time 22:30. Adults: 800 yen on weekdays, 950 yen on holidays. Supports electronic cash and credit card payments. Shoe box 100 yen returned, changing locker 100 yen returned. Body soap, shampoo, and hair dryer are provided. The bathhouses are ``Shiraiwa-no-Yu'' and ``Ryusen-no-Yu,'' which alternate daily for men and women. This time we used Shiraiwa no Yu. There are 2 indoor baths, a jet bath, a sleeping bath for 2 people, a dry sauna, and 2 cold baths, an outdoor bath, an outdoor hot spring bath for 2 people, and many outdoor bath chairs. The spring quality is isotonic, neutral and high temperature sodium chloride hot spring. 44.3℃. pH7.2. Metaboric acid 137.6mg. Slightly yellowish, salty, iron taste, odorless. The hot water is isotonic and neutral, and is a saline spring that is gentle on the body, but it also contains a lot of metaboric acid, which is expected to have skin repairing and sterilizing effects. The open-air bath is quite spacious and has plenty of relaxing chairs, so I was able to take a relaxing bath in the outside air. This time I visited after sunset, so unfortunately I couldn't see the view. Next time I would like to visit while the sun is shining. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was also reasonably priced and delicious.

Service items within the hot spring facility are not in good condition. There were no cotton swabs either. The restaurant menu has a poor selection. It can't be helped that there are so many foreign tourists.I felt sick because I didn't know hot spring etiquette, so I just went into the hot spring without pouring hot water or taking a shower.Sulfur spring water. The area where the hair dryer was located was sweltering with hot air.I was so cooped up that the airflow was so bad that it was hard to breathe. The hair dryer was also on the verge of death from overwork. There was an outlet for my hair dryer in the corner, but I couldn't use it if there were people using the installed hair dryer, so I just kept it on the shelf.

The onsen/bath itself is really great, traditional. However the massage I had was the worst experience of my trip in Japan. I ended up in a weird situation: didn't know if I should pay before or after the massage, but the lady started the massage, though I asked: clearly 0 English knowledge, but I did insist on asking, so she could have guessed that I have something I'm not sure. I got to know later that she should have been asking for the badge which shows that I paid. She didn't, she started the massage - which is btw only scrubbing in 30 min - after 10 min she relized that I didn't pay and she treated me truly like a criminal. I never felt so humiliated. Of course I left, dressed up, paid the scrubbing, went back to show the badge, then she finished the scrubbing, though I regret that I didn't just get out after giving her the badge. I'm an adult, not a sensitive one, but this was a traumatic experience.

The bath I went to at the end of my Nagano trip was nice because it had a natural source, and the Obuse milk I drank after the bath was easy to drink and delicious.I grabbed the 800 yen and the 200 yen I needed for my locker and drank the milk after the bath. Drink...I think it's the best. There is also a sauna

Since it's nearby, I sometimes use it for day trip baths. The open feeling of the open-air bath and the greenery of the mountains are very nice. Previously, the shower flow was slow and it took a long time to wash off, but it seems to have improved now. The bathhouse, where the men's and women's baths are interchangeable, has a different feel and is very nice. The sauna has been renovated and is nice and clean, but the water bath is always lukewarm and not very cold, and the dirt is noticeable. The sauna water bath in the bathhouse on the right is small and crowded. Some people stay in the water for a long time because the water is not very cold. That's the only regret. I used the sauna for the first time after hearing that the food at the restaurant became more delicious than before. It was a little later than lunch time, so it was empty. The taste was just delicious. There's a lot of food and I'm full. Unfortunately, although there is a large portion, there is no small portion. However, I would like to use it again. On the way home, I noticed that the ticket sales had ended, which was a shame as I had always used the ticket. There are other hot springs used within the city. The water in the sauna is really cold there, the hot springs are good, and the facilities are clean, but it's a little far from my house, so I used them differently. There may be more opportunities to go there once the coupon ticket ends.

The temperature of the hot water is good. The smell of the open-air bath is exactly like the smell of Matsushiro Sou and Matsushiro Iki's house at Matsushiro Onsen. The indoor bath smells just like Shinbashi Iku's house.

The open-air bath has a wonderful view and I think the quality of the spring water is also very good. You can receive services such as massages, beauty treatments, and massage treatments, and there is also a dining room and rest area, so you can spend the day relaxing. It is a facility with the best cost performance.
