I chose it because it was cheap, but it is difficult for a large family to stay there.Individual or couple?The rooms are generally large and good, but the bathroom is shared and there is no shower.The owner was very friendly, selling tickets to Hyotan Hot Springs at a low price and making reservations for me.Just consider that there are no shower facilities and that it is a shared bathroom.

I bought food to steam in hell, but I couldn't find a place to rent it, but the owner steamed it for me...A warm welcome in many ways…The room is nice too…

Horimiya is a warm place, with a friendly space and a perfect welcome. Miyo introduced us to the neighborhood and all the amenities. She was lovely and gave us lots of advice during our stay. The room for 3 is large and clean. Right in the center, you can visit the entire neighborhood on foot. All that remains is to enjoy the onsens. Thanks again for the welcome 😍

It was a very pleasant stay. The owner lady is very kind. They introduce the surrounding area and even pick you up when time permits (service). It's a great place to enjoy the Japanese hot spring neighborhood.

I’ve never been so sad to leave a place before, but Toji Stay Hiromiya forever has my heart 🤍 truly the best way to experience the heart of Beppu Onsen town. On the first day that we arrived, our host, Miho-san, sat down with us and gave us all of the recommendations of local bath houses that we need to try. She also gave us a coupon to go to Hyotan Onsen, and walked us to the smaller local ones to make sure we didn’t get lost.On our second evening, we went to the common area to show Miho-san our Goshuin collection from our travels. Little did we know, she offered to drive us to two local shrines so we can get a Goshuin from Beppu the next morning 🥺 She also tried to explain the meaning of the shrines that we went to which was super sweet of her!Talking about our accommodations, the location of the guest house was only less than 10 minutes walk away to the first five hells (Jigoku), and a 4 minute walk away to the nearest bus stop. There is also a grocery store nearby which is about a 7 minute walk away if you want to cook. The room we were given was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy! The bathroom and kitchen area are shared, and they are all very clean as well. The bottom floor has a private bath where you can soak in fresh Beppu Onsen water. On the first floor by the entrance, you can borrow baskets of soap, shampoo, and conditioner as well as fresh towels and slippers if you want to check out a local bathhouse. Miho-san also let us borrow some of her cooking tools when we made shabu shabu and yakiniku in our rooms! During our stay, we also received some Onsen Eggs in the morning. So delicious! 🤍We always leave a gift to all of our hosts during our trip, but nothing compares to the gift of kindness and hospitality that Miho-san brought for us. We are incredibly grateful that we made a lifelong friend during our stay in Beppu, and we can’t wait to come back!

Very friendly lady host, excellent hospitality, she walked us all the way to the bath house to make sure we are not lost, tatami beds were nicely prepared for us, double layer tatami that are so comfortable compared to the rest of the ryokan that I have stayed, delicious complimentary onsen eggs as breakfast

The owner of the accommodation is very friendly. The room is Japanese style.The accommodation has a shared zone: bathroom, kitchen. The atmosphere is like coming to a homestay at a Japanese house.During your visit, the accommodation has a discount promotion for entering the Hyotan Onsen hot springs.Convenient travel Take one bus from Beppu Station, get off at Kannawa, then walk a bit to get there.

Hiromiya is a great ryokan to stay in! Miho-san was an outstanding host, her positive attitude really showed. She not only helped us plan our time, she guided us around the area and told us a lot about the local history. Everything about the rooms was well kept and the location is right in the middle of the jigoku mushi area. Arigatou Miho-san!!
