I love Fukushima and have been to Ouchi-juku several times.I was really looking forward to staying at Ouchi-juku for the first time.but.It's impossible for someone to suddenly take a day off and not contact me.I'm glad I called before going deep into the mountains.I didn't know about it when I visited, and found myself camping out in the middle of nowhere in sub-zero temperatures. It is very disappointing.

Both the landlady and the host were very kind, and although I haven't lived in a guesthouse since my university days, I felt relaxed without any inconvenience. There was a lot of food and all of it was delicious. Above all, I was glad to be able to walk around the less popular Ouchi-juku at night and early in the morning.

I've been coming to Ouchi-juku for a long time, but there seem to be only two places to stay, so this was my first time staying here. This fan shopIt is run by a father and mother couple.Check-in is also reasonable at 14:00.You can park your car behind the inn, so don't worry. After leaving your luggage in your room, you can take a leisurely stroll around Ouchi-juku.I knew from previous reviews that the amount of food would be large, but the amount exceeded my expectations...Strangely, they didn't serve sashimi even though it was in the mountains.Horse sashimi, various mountain foods, rock fish, etc.Meals will be served in a room with a hearth. It's delicious no matter what you eatIf you want to take photos of Ouchi-juku without peopleStaying is recommended. Now that the coronavirus is over, there are more Taiwanese tourists and overnight guests than Japanese people (lol)The mother at the hostel also speaks a lot of Japanese.I am explaining this to people in Taiwan. Although some of them are understoodI don't know much about anything else (lol)And there was a lot of breakfast as well.Recommended for those who have never stayed at Ouchi-juku!It's nice because you can relax and there is a day trip hot spring about 15 minutes away by car.

A very good experience, the dinner was rich and the breakfast was just right, both were delicious. I slipped and fractured my bones on the road on January 26. I would like to thank my mother-in-law at the B&B for her great concern. She brought warm clothes and a thermal pack to keep me warm, called an ambulance for me, and stayed with me like a family member to check on me. Thank you.

The parents-in-law are kind and the breakfast and dinner are rich. Traditional B&Bs are very flavorful. There is free parking behind the B&B, which is very convenient.

This is one of the few inns in Ouchi-juku where you can experience staying overnight.I am very satisfied that I was able to stay in a traditional thatched-roofed house at such a low price. All the guests are charmed by the hostess's personality.Dinner was eaten around the hearth with other guests staying on the same day, and as we interacted with the hostess, we all quickly became friends. This encounter was as valuable as staying in a traditional house. It was a Japanese-style guest room, and of course there were no keys, and of course the house was creaking. There are also no TVs in the rooms. We recommend staying with someone who understands these points.I'm very satisfied! Thank you, madam.
