I stayed at Cottage Hibari the other day. There are 5 cottages in total and they are old buildings.In-room facilities include a TV, bath, toilet, washing machine, and complete kitchen. The toilet is not a washlet and there is no air conditioner.*Even in late July, Shikoku Karst was cool, so there was no need for an air conditioner, and it was chilly at night, so I slept with the screen door closed. The smell didn't bother me, but the windows were poorly constructed so insects could come in.If you are concerned, we recommend bringing insect repellent. The parking lot will be on the road in front of the cottage, but if you have to change direction, you can park up to 2 cars and park the rest a little further away. For meals, you can also use the barbecue facilities in front of you.If you make a reservation at Himezuru-so, you can purchase the ingredients, and you can also eat at Himezuru-so.

When I entered the front door, the house smelled like mold, and I immediately opened all the windows to ventilate it, but the smell didn't go away at all, and I didn't feel like using the appliances or dishes that were provided. I couldn't sleep at night because of the smell. However, the view was amazing.

・5 cottages and BBQ space for guests.・Cars can be parked on a narrow road from the road in front of Himezuru-so and parked in the parking space reserved for cottage guests, but only 2 to 3 cars can be parked and depending on how you park, it may be difficult to change direction. From there, each cottage is close, but it's unpaved and has several steps, so you can't pull a carry-on bag.・If you are walking, there is a steep staircase (shortcut) made of earth and wood that leads to the observation space adjacent to the road in front of Himezuru-so.-The room has a cupboard with a variety of tableware. We also have sponges for washing dishes, but if you're concerned about it, we recommend bringing your own. Also, there are no provided towels, so you will need to bring your own toiletries and bath towels.・Check-in, check-out, and pick up BBQ ingredients at Himezuru-so. Also, if you request breakfast, you will have it at Himezuruso's dining room.・The biggest attraction is that there is space between neighboring cottages so you can use them without any hesitation.・On Google Maps, it says "Shikoku Karst Cottage" and "Hotel Himetsuru-so" on the other side of the road, but I think they both refer to Himetsuru-so. I don't think there is a cottage type accommodation facility called "Shikoku Karst Cottage" in the location on the map.

When you enter the restaurant, you need to decide on a menu in advance and make payment. After paying, you will be assigned a table to sit at, and you will not be able to choose your seat freely. …

At night, you can enjoy a starry sky in Shikoku Karst. However, it is dangerous to drive at night, so I stayed at Himezuruso. …
