2024.10.Used on pilgrimage trip.A guest house next to the cruise ship landfill.The rooms are kept clean and there is a washer/dryer for 100 yen each. Wi-Fi available.

The most amazing hospitality i have experienced on the Shikoku trail. Not only is the property close to the ferry, cycleable to the supermarket, the rooms are clean and the amenities are perfect. To top it all, the lady taking care of the property went out of the way to help me with a medical ailment and was me all the best showing concern and assisting me as her English is excellent.Highly recommend.

Great little spot. An easy walk to 36 , right near the bus stop from kochi or on to going south. Convenience store a short walk up the road. The house as clean and functional , all that we needed and rooms comfortable.Our host was an outstanding communicator ( in English as well ) and has a passion for her work. Helpful in every way. We had the best farewell ever as we leafy on the ferry to continue. Thanks so much , we highly recommend this accomodation. It was fun to stay.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would, if you are a henro or just anyone passing through the area and looking for a place to stay, look no further.It is right next to the ferry that Henro will likely be taking the next morning which is massively convenient. More than that, the staff who operate the hostel are beyond kind and willing to go far out of their way to help, even driving me to the pharmacy to cure my ailments!The rooms are comfortable and air conditioned, exactly what you need after a long day of walking.To my understanding there is a sister hostel operated and located just next door which has food options as well which looks great.To conclude though, stay here if you can - it is highly affordable too which helps if you are walking the pilgrimage.

This hostel is right next to the ferry. It's perfect for walking henro. The ownerr can speak English fluenty. The facilities are modern, clean and neat. There is a massage chair that does wonders for a tired back.

Super clean and modern hostel right next to the ferry. Don’t hesitate to stay if you’re a walking Henro, especially if your Japanese is patchy (non-existent). Owners (who also run Nazuna) were fantastic, especially Mari who speaks fluent English. She even drove down to see me off at the morning ferry. Thank you for your help and hospitality - really, really appreciate it.

Nice and clean Accommodation, Mari is very kind and helpfull, also fluent in English. I had a hard time finding Accommodation for the next days and she helped me a lot. She even caught up to me while I was walking toward temple 37 to bring my jacket back that i forgot the night before in the restaurant where I ate. Can't thank her enough!100% would recommand this place. Also It's a nice little city with lovely people.

Please do not hesitate and stay at this accommodation! It is a new, very clean, good looking house. The kitchen includes all appliances should you want to cook, there is a super nice living room (with massage chair!) and the bedrooms are spacious and nice. I immediately felt good here. There are 2 bikes you can borrow to go to the supermarket/restaurant/temple 36. Very convenient!!The owners are absolutely amazing. Very nice, caring and available all the time. The female owner speaks fluent English. They are the reason I felt at home and safe immediately. We forgot our jacket at a restaurant the night before. They picked it up the next morning, while we were already walking, and drove all the way to us to the point we were at that moment. And they smiled every step of the way!If you walk the pilgrimage, you can take a ferry to Susaki city from the backyard of the accommodation. You could also use it, as I did, as a crossover to the peninsula, from which you can walk to Susaki city.I had a wonderful stay.

Clean and modern accommodation. Use of bike and located right next to the ferry wharf. Outstanding service. Mari, went out of her way to book my following accommodation on the long weekend. Highly recommend!
