In the late 2000s, I used this inn many times during fieldwork for university research groups. The hostess had a kind smile and seemed to like talking to people, and even though she was probably busy with a large number of people, she always greeted me with a smile. It's not a place you can easily go to from far away without a purpose, so even though I've wanted to go there someday since I became a member of society, I've never been able to make it happen.Even so, when I think of Tsuno Town, what always comes to mind is the warm smile of the hostess as she waved goodbye at the end. thank you very much.

Immediately after arriving, I saw an old woman and a man talking while sitting under the kotatsu in the living room, and I thought it was a family member, but the man was also a customer. It really looks like a country house, and there are other guests staying behind the sliding door. It seemed like animals were running around in the attic at night. The next morning, grandma showed us each room and told us old stories.Nowadays, rather than going on a trip overseas, you might be able to have a much more special experience by staying at a guesthouse deep in the mountains of Japan.

The inn is like grandma's house. Recommended for people who love the Showa era atmosphere.
