Around mid-October, three of us stayed here for the night before our autumn Ozenuma hike.We had dinner and breakfast in the large tatami room on the first floor, and we had a great time.Coco-chan, the cat kept at the inn, is a very smart cat.At dinner time, they come around to greet guests in a friendly manner. When you think you've petted it, it immediately goes to another person, and it seems like it has a strong spirit of service, and its polite behavior is irresistible.Urchin-chan is a moody cat, so she only showed up briefly, but just seeing her fluffy back makes me feel a little lucky. You can also feel the proprietress' love for cats from the cat-shaped bowl and cat-shaped chopstick rest. For dinner, we had fruit wine made from wild cherry blossoms, mushrooms we had never seen before, deep-fried char, delicious tomato slices, stewed bear meat, purple radish grown in my grandpa's field, and rice cooked with unlimited refills. It also left an impression on me. Although it was simple, it was a delicious dish that allowed you to feel the climate of Hinoemata.Even at breakfast, I was able to enjoy free refills of cooked rice. The miso soup and tomato sauce were also very delicious and we all got refills, so we all ate the whole thing. (Coco-chan came over for breakfast too!)This is a wonderful inn where you can enjoy the warmth that is unique to this inn, created by the cat-loving proprietress, and the sense of harmony between the traditions of Hinoemata.

I had the best time. All the dishes were delicious and matched well with local beer and local sake. I don't think there was any meat, but I was full from the wild vegetables, river fish, and cooked rice. The breakfast was also just the right amount. We had a lot of Koshihikari rice from Uonuma. The cats here are well accustomed to people and will come close to you.For hot springs, we were able to take a bath for free at Hibinoyu, which is a 3-minute walk away. It's a great place to stay before or after sightseeing in Oze or climbing Mt. Aizu-Komagatake.Letters from past guests were posted on the wall of the guest room on the second floor, showing the support of many people. When I checked out, I had some time until my return bus, so I told them I was going to the roadside station to kill some time, and they took the trouble to give me a ride. Thank you very much.I would like to go again in a different season.

I stayed alone for one night on weekday June 4th.Others have written about the details, so I'll keep it simple.(I'm not cutting corners)Meshi, it’s amazing!! ️It's delicious, it's super delicious. It was towards the end of wild vegetable season. However, there were many local wild vegetable dishes lined up.The one that was delicious was (Kuma)❗I ate it for the first time. He said that he simmered it quite a bit to remove the scum. No, it was delicious.Damage caused by bears has become a problem in recent years.Bear was so delicious. From now on, I think I'll look at the news differently about bears.(Maybe I should become Matagi)Enjoy warm customer service from a mother, daughter, and cat and eat lots of delicious food.It was a very satisfying night.*I would be happy if they could increase the variety of sake a little more.Okuaizu has a lot of delicious sake.*It seems to be used mostly by people climbing Oze, but casual travelers like me can also stay there.I stayed alone. If you are staying alone during the high season, please email or call us.Alternatively, it seems better to contact us by telegram or carrier pigeon. It's a nice inn 🎵(Snow lodges are delicious)[Notes]There is no convenience store in Hinoemata Village. Instead of thinking, ``I don't need to buy anything yet,'' just buy what you need at a convenience store you find along the road.If you take a carefree attitude and say, ``There are more,'' you will end up in a miserable situation like I did.I wanted a canned beer to drink in the morning, but there were no stores (the only liquor store in the village closes at 5pm).When I heard that there was a vending machine at a nearby hot spring, I went to buy one, and what happened!350ml of Super Dry cost 400 yen.“Gah!” I said out loud.*It's been about 3 months since I stayed here.I want to eat a bear!! ️

Rather than the foot of Oze, it is a part of it. Just a short distance to the Oike parking lot. Access from the metropolitan area is not good, but the food is original. This is my first time trying pickled rock fish. When the daylily tempura came out, I was surprised that it was actually edible, which was of course my first time eating it. A lot of mushrooms 🍄 that I can't remember even if you tell me their names. It's not just autumn. My father, who is 93 years old (counting years), drives a light truck 50 kilometers back and forth every day to grow his own homegrown vegetables in a field he owns in a neighboring village. This time it's an Italian style recipe using tomatoes 🍅 and eggplants 🍆. Sorry, I should have taken a photo. Ah, that's right. Not only the rockfish but also the salt-grilled fish are exquisite. There were two groups of customers, but they all ate everything from head to tail. The tempura has an excellent amount of salt and is drinkable. What's more, you'll be surprised by the variety of original sours and cocktails available. When I was paying the bill, I was told that I had drunk this much. We are a combination of elderly people, 70 and 63 years old. A further 2 minutes walk to the hot spring ♨️Hinnoyu (bathing fee of 1000 yen), free with a ryokan pass. Of course I took a bath in the morning. Only the horseflies were superfluous.Ah, I can't write it all. Please be prepared for the inconvenience.

The B&B is located in the center of Hinoedagi Village. There are many other B&Bs nearby. It can be reached on foot in about three minutes from "Kami-nohara" Station. The room is very neat and clean, with complete basic facilities, including a TV, coffee table, hot water kettle, etc., as well as towels and bathrobes. But please note that toilets and refrigerators need to be shared, and beds need to be made by yourself. In addition, when checking in, guests will receive a pass for the hot spring facilities in the village, which allows guests to take a free bath in the three hot springs in the village. Although there is a bathroom in the B&B, it is small in size. It is recommended to take a bath at the nearby "Sui no Yu".In addition, the food at the B&B is also excellent. The dinner is based on Hinoedaki Village's unique "Sanjin cuisine", which includes dishes prepared with mountain ingredients such as wild vegetables, rockfish, and buckwheat. Although the ingredients are simple, I was deeply impressed by the right cooking techniques and exquisiteness. Among them, the rockfish sashimi, which is marinated and seasoned with sansho pepper, is the most delicious. The proprietress is very cordial and sincere. She will take the initiative to chat with the guests, explain the history of the place to me and introduce the food for dinner in detail. When I left, I was given two bottles of water, one of which was completely ice-cold, to cool off the heat. In addition, a towel with a pattern and the name of the B&B was also given. In addition, there are two cats in the B&B. They will roam around the B&B and even hang around the guests during meals. They are very cute.I am honored to be the first guest from Hong Kong in this B&B in 32 years. If I visit Ose or Hinoeda Village again in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

On our annual wedding anniversary trip, this time I went to Fukushima to look for various places with my wife, but we found an inn with a cat! This was the deciding factor and I am grateful for your help. First of all, from the moment I called him, I thought he was a very warm person. However, my wife suddenly became unwell, so when I called to cancel, she told me that if I wanted to check on her until the day of the appointment, she would be happy to come 😢 She was so kind that I almost cried 😢 The room was vacant. I'll take care of it for you 😢 I can't believe there are still such good people in this world 😢 And on the day of it, my wife is going to be able to go, or if it's an onjuku that treats me so well, I want to go there and fix it! 😅 Fortunately, I don't have a disease that can be passed on to others, so I may not be able to eat the food, but is that okay? Thanks to your kind words, we were able to stay the night 😊 It was the first time for both of us in Hinoemata, and we were able to experience nature that we couldn't experience where we live, and we arrived at Onjukugo and breathed in the clean air. 😌I was even more impressed when I was greeted by two kind people who were just as I had expected😭Since I had a little time until dinner, I borrowed a card that would allow me to use a nearby public hot spring and relaxed and soaked in the hot spring to relieve the fatigue from the journey. It's time to loosen up and enjoy dinner 😋 Overwhelmed by the seasonal wild vegetable dishes 😭 Everything is hand-crafted and above all delicious! ! As for my wife, who was worried about me, she could only eat milk and yogurt until we arrived, but she was completely absorbed in her favorite wild vegetable dish😅She even gave me a refill😅The cats also came along the way, which was very soothing. 😊 We were both so absorbed in the food that was being brought out one after another that we drank alcohol and took pictures of the food, but these are just a few of the pictures 💦 I forgot 😅 My stomach was full and I was so happy with the meal. When I went out into the hallway, the cat seemed to be playing 😝 We played there for about an hour ☺️ I took a little break in my room and then took a bath at the home in the onjuku, which was even more impressive 😭 The hot spring water came out of the faucet! 🤣I got warm and watched the beautiful night ⭐️ before going to bed😪Breakfast was a bit too much, but even though the check-out time was 10 o'clock, I was able to have a relaxing time at 10 o'clock 🙇🏼‍♂️ I had a lot of breakfast until there was no grain of middle-sized rice in the pot 😅At the end, we took a souvenir photo with the cat, and we wanted to take it easy, but we left the inn... We were so grateful to the people of Onjuku who waved at us until we were no longer visible. And this time, I made a reservation for 2 nights in the middle of winter🤣I'm looking forward to Hinoemata in winter🤣

2023.10.2I stayed here for climbing Mt. Aizu Komagatake. When you enter the inn, Coco-chan 🐱 will welcome you!Soon, the sea urchin 🐱 also came! It's irresistible for cat lovers♪The food made with local ingredients was also very delicious. The next day, I enjoyed the chilled tomatoes I had received at the top of Mt. Aizu Komagatake. It was a wonderful accommodation with great attention to detail.
