I would be happy if you could prepare a mountain climbing lunch box. Nowadays, there are frozen rice balls, etc., so it would be nice if they had them available as an option. The room was clean and the bath was nice. The staff were also clean, serious and likable. He even worried about my descent. Thank you a lot for your hospitality.

I haven't used it, but it has a nice atmosphere.

Although I didn't stay overnight, I would have liked to have stayed before or after climbing.

It passes through as a connecting point to Numayama Pass.There is a large parking lot.

The wide coin 🅿 here can make you fall asleep. If your plan for the day is to climb directly to Mt. Hibutsu, you can do a day trip the night before in the morning, or you can go down to Ozegahara and spend the night, and the next day, although it's a long trip, you can go to Mt. Shibutsu, return along the promenade, and take the bus 🚌 to Oike. Be sure to check the time of departure and the last flight. By the way, I returned to Oike by the road I had climbed directly, stayed in the car at a roadside station, and headed back to Mt. Nasu Sanbonyari. Once again, I added Mt. Shibutsu before climbing Mt. Kokai and Oku-Shirane. Like last year's Mt. Bandai, Mt. Kokai, which had Chitake mushrooms growing at the same time of the year, was in a state of mountain climbing the day after heavy rain. I took a nap at 🅿 at Shimoyamago Shrine. Mt. Nantai was still a mess up to the middle road.

It's a great option for staying before/after a visit to Oze national park.It's running only with bed & breakfast so don't have any expectations on the food, you can try to eat before you go there but I didn't see a lot of restaurants on the way. they do sell cup noodle and microwave curry/rice and provides basic kitchenwares so you can make a simple dinner yourself.The breakfast starts at 7:00 it was yakionigiri*2 and an boiled egg, you can ask to wrap it for togo if you want to checkout early (the first bus into Oze is 6:30, and every 30mins onwards, bus stop is 1 min walk right next door from this lodge), but it you eat I'm the lodge they provide some simple drinks like coffee or juice.The public bath is only in the evening, open until 9pm. No bath in the morning.The room was very basic Ryokan style Japanese room, no toilet in the room, shared toilet is outside of the room in the hallway, only a few steps away from my room. The shared toilet has enough slot so don't worry at all about having to wait. There were only four groups staying the night I visited, mostly senior couples or solo hiker.The staff asked about my trekking route when checking in and allowed me to leave my car in their parking lot for free when I told them I was going into Oze and going to stay a night in the park then come back to pick up car. This saved me a two-day parking fee (I think it'd be 2000yen for 2 days if I were to park the car to the public paid parking lot right next to the lodge).Overall, it's a good place to stay for visitors to Oze, very clean and convenient.

There is no free parking lot, but if you enter the parking lot, you will have to pay 1000 yen for ``environmental conservation''.

You can also rent dishes. You can wash them yourself after use.) The TV in the Japanese-style room is fairly clean and only shows BS broadcasts. There are 2 shared Japanese-style toilets, 2 Western-style bathrooms, and a sauna (currently closed).There are 2 electric kettles in the room on the 3rd floor. Futons are self-service.

It was fun to be accompanied by a guide on the shuttle bus! ️Although it was a little early for the autumn leaves, I was satisfied.

I think I had some soba noodles when I went there.It seems like it's only for self-catering now, which is a bit disappointing. Well, the population is small so it can't be helped.
