Used in June 2024A family of 3 stayed here for 1 night with 2 meals included. It is run by an elderly couple. The bath is the size of a normal home bath. It's not a public bath that you can use at any time you like. They said that they had stopped providing alcoholic beverages during the coronavirus pandemic, so I asked them to buy some at the supermarket across from Sagawa Station. I was told that it was OK to drink the alcohol I had bought with my meal. We went shopping after our meal and enjoyed it in our room.As for the meals, both dinner and breakfast are home-cooked by my mother. The boiled fish was delicious. There was a microwave and hot water pot in the common area. You can walk to the sake brewery where the drama was set. I wandered around on my morning walk. I only saw it from the outside, but that's okay too.

I stayed for 4,950 yen per night without meals. As mentioned in other reviews, the building is old, but the room doesn't feel old, especially the bath. Every corner was thoroughly cleaned and I was able to stay comfortably. No complaints.

I was a little worried because the exterior was old, but as other comments have said, the interior was well kept and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. The cost performance was good considering that meals are priced at around 5,500 to 7,500 yen for one night and two meals. It is run by an elderly couple, and the owner apparently met Tomitaro Makino, a nearby botanist from Sagawa Town, during the war.

Since I was sightseeing and staying overnight without meals, I thought I would be fine as long as I could sleep, but I was worried about the mattress being sagging. . I was very grateful that all the amenities were provided.

I stayed here as a senior couple traveling.I had no expectations at all since it was a business hotel in the countryside, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with lots of variety, and the rice and soup were warm and delicious. The bathroom was also spotless with no mold or dirt. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from the refrigerator and the ventilation fan. Overall I was very satisfied.

Thank you for the delicious and hot breakfast. On a cold day, the landlady told me I could stay until it was safe to go home. I will never forget this kindness.
