I used it on my first trip to Kochi 🏠I made a reservation six months in advance, and the owner, Haruka, kindly gave me advice on everything from planning to the climate and local specialties, so I was able to make my plans smoothly📝They kindly accepted the schedule change🙇🏻‍♀️Hidaka Village, where the guesthouse is located, is about 30 minutes by car from Kochi city🚗It's surrounded by rice fields and close to the Niyodo River, so I feel it's a perfect place for sightseeing🏞It's a quiet location a little inside from the road that connects to the city, and of course there's a starry sky at night⭐️ During the day, you can see the rice fields from the living room window and relax all day long 🌸Enjoy your day in the cypress bath, which is large enough to stretch your legs 🥰 The home appliances are stylish and all have eco modes, making your stay eco-friendly 🌍The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a dishwasher, which was helpful👏🏻 All home appliances and projectors came with instructions written by the owner, so it was perfect💗My personal favorite feature is the natural wood flooring 🪵✨ It was a luxurious experience to walk barefoot on the floor that adjusts to your body temperature, neither too hot nor too cold 🦶🏻Fully air-conditioned, no noise, a reasonable distance from the owner's home next door, peace of mind, purified water faucet, and tea and coffee available☕️Thank you for taking great care of us, from booking and paying for the houseboat to arranging the Sawachi cuisine 🙏🏻 I would like to come back to Kochi again ❤️Thank you for your help🌼🌈

I used it after the Obon holidays in August. They were able to respond flexibly to changes in the number of people, and even made suggestions for futons. It was difficult to park when there were several cars going, but even with that, we were satisfied with everything and it was a wonderful stay!I would definitely like to use it again next time.

A family trip that continues with the idea, ``Let's go to a prefecture we've never been to before!'' We were finally able to reopen after the coronavirus pandemic. (First time in 5 years!)It was of course my first time in Kochi, but Me used it on the second day. What was really nice was that after I made the reservation, I was able to consult with them about my travel plans on LINE!We received recommendations for nearby restaurants and shopping places. The rooms have high ceilings and are spacious.I felt that there was a lot of attention paid to the equipment. I felt that they were sincerely listening to and responding to the voices of various customers.I was able to spend my time without any complaints.Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we had to change our plans for dinner, so we bought ingredients at the supermarket and threw it at a home party, but there was no problem as there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The view from the living room is truly an original Japanese landscape. A stream was flowing right in front of me and I was able to enjoy the relaxing time. The breakfast you told me about was at a coffee shop inside a nearby roadside station.I was able to buy some souvenirs and the service was good, so it was a good start to the day.It was a very satisfying stay.thank you very much.

We thought the view of the traditional rice fields from our room was wonderful, so we took advantage of it.I love traveling and have stayed in a variety of accommodations, including condos, but this was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed at.・A wide variety of tableware to choose from・Automatic dishwasher・Kitchen is equipped with seasonings・Rice cooker and toaster available・Lotion and cleansing included·projector・Hinoki bath・Mosquito coil・Insect repellentAll of the services were able to help me with my pain points.I've never seen a place with so much variety.Personally, I was very happy to be able to have a fireworks show at the hotel, which there are currently only a few places where you can do it.Thank you for lending me your bucket and chukkaman. There are also tables, chairs, and tableware for children.I think the kids will be happy with the space where they can run around.I felt that the price was cheap overall. It was a lot of fun, so I would like to use it again.thank you very much!

My friend and I, two mothers with four children, originally booked a two-night stay. But after we checked in, we felt that Haruka's house was so comfortable and beautiful. We happened to have no reservations later, so we extended our stay for a total of four nights! If we use Google Maps to navigate the Toyota Alphard, we will navigate to a very small road, but the official website explains very clearly that the small slope entering the house is indeed very steep, so you need to drive carefully when entering or exiting. It's one of the best houses I've ever stayed in that made me feel impeccable, and I want to go there again in the future! The communication before the trip was very smooth. Any travel-related questions and needs can be discussed with Haruka and answered; the location of the house is condescending, and the view of the rural scenery is refreshing; Haruka has great taste in the furnishings and decoration of the house. All items that travelers may need are provided. In addition to basic toiletries, the bathroom also has three hair oils, two lotions and lotions. In addition to kitchen utensils and tableware, crisper boxes, sealing clips, ice boxes and Placemats and other small items full of life quality are also provided. There are children's toys and even a simple first aid kit in the living room! There are also some landlords who provide various items, but Haruka provides the same items that she also uses at home, such as MUJI dishcloths or locally produced traditional brewed soy sauce, which all show her extraordinary taste and Treat travelers like family! The only thing to note is that there will inevitably be insects or small animals in country houses. I will choose to send them out gently (such as spiders in the bathroom) without making too much fuss.

I stayed for one night with a friend and family visiting from Tokyo. It's about a 30-minute drive from Kochi city, and it's a good location for visiting the western part of Kochi Prefecture. The building was an old private house that had been completely renovated and was even more beautiful and clean than it looked in the photo. It is equipped with furniture, home appliances, and amenities that the owner has tasted, and is also practical.Among them, Pop-in Aladdin didn't have to worry about children knocking over the TV, and parents were excited because it was their first time using it.All kitchen utensils such as a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, tableware, etc. are provided, so you can enjoy your meals at your leisure. This time I bought it at a nearby supermarket, but next time I would like to order the Sawachi cuisine, which requires advance reservations. This time, I was staying with an infant aged 0 to 2 years old, but thanks to the addition of additive-free amenities that even children can use, toys for children, baby chairs, bathtubs, and baby futons, I was able to keep my luggage to a minimum. I did it!Before and during my stay, any questions I had were answered quickly via the official LINE, and I was able to quickly resolve any questions I had.Next time, I would like to plan to spend more time at the inn and enjoy a wonderful stay.Thank you very much for your consideration!

If you are looking to experience the beautiful country side of Japan, Vacation Rental MEI is an absolute must. My family stayed here for 5 nights and it was truly a blessing and added to our lives. A beautiful view greets you everyday, rain or shine, you can just sit there and be at peace. The house has everything you need, including a dryer, something a lot of Japanese stays do not have. The cypress bath is as close as you will get to a personal onsen experience. There are two bedrooms that you can choose from, one with a traditional tatami mat and futon, the other a comfy bed that can fit a whole family. Everything in the home is also beautifully made: the glass sliding doors, the wood beams, the furniture and dishes. The location of the home is also very convenient. You can walk to a near by train station or grocery shop or restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed these walks. Hidaka is also about 30 minutes away from Kochi city by train, so you are not too far away from enjoying the city life as well.Haruka-san, is above and beyond what you would expect from a host. She genuinely cares about your stay and is always there to help you. Whether you have your day planned out or have no clue what to do, she is there to make sure your stay in Hidaka is very enjoyable and pleasant. I would also definitely go with her recommendations. Finally, the price. It is the best bang for your buck. All of this, for a per night bases vs per person stay, is a huge win for families or couples. Even for a single person, the price absolutely worth it.Thank you again Haruka-san for your generous hospitality and your beautiful inn.
