Although not for those looking for brand newness and modern comfort, this guesthouse is excellent. This is a memorable stay.I chose the least expensive meal, but it was huge. And delicious. Please stay overnight with meals included.The equipment in the room is old, but it is clean and comfortable.I highly recommend it.

Located on top of a mountain, the view was spectacular and it was quiet.The facilities may be a little old, but the homemade food was delicious. Although the bathroom and toilet are shared, the room I stayed in this time was spacious and I was able to really relax and relax.

It is located on the hill of Cape Ashizuri, a little far from the tip (Cape Ashizuri Lighthouse and Kongofukuji Temple).After passing through the Matsuo Tunnel on Prefectural Route 27, the road suddenly becomes narrower, so you need to be careful about passing other vehicles.When you see the information board for the guesthouse, turn sharply to the right and enter the mountain road (Tsubaki Tunnel) from here.After a while, another information board will appear, so turn right and you will arrive.It was after 6pm when I visited, so it was pitch dark, and driving in the darkness through a tunnel of camellia trees was scary😭. Let's go when it's bright.The parking space is on a large grassy area in front of the building.The owner came out and guided us.The room is a Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats, and although it doesn't have an ocean view, it is on a hill with a nice view, so you can see the sea of Ashizuri perfectly.Since it is a guest house, the rooms do not have a shared bathroom or toilet, but it was well maintained and I felt comfortable using it.The breakfast and evening meals are also rich in seafood and voluminous. There were also dishes made with love, such as gratin. Moreover, the fish is fresh and delicious! Even though I was the only one making sashimi, I was greeted right in front of me... The amount of rice was enough to fit three bowls in a small ohitsu, but I ate it all.There are framed senryu and calligraphy that are thought to have been written by the proprietress throughout the facility. It has taste.Despite the small number of rooms, it was spacious and I was able to spend a relaxing time.Very satisfied!

I stayed on a plan that included ikezukuri. The couple welcomed us warmly. The facilities were well maintained and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. Dinner was as expected, and I was satisfied with the fresh sashimi. There was a surprising amount of manga on display (especially Osamu Tezuka's works), which I enjoyed. My only regret was that I couldn't go to the rooftop observation deck due to coronavirus precautions.
