From the moment we stepped off the ferry from Naha, our stay with Kerama Terrace excelled. Hida greeted us at the ferry and drove us to the hotel. Tomomi greeted us at the desk and ensured that we settled in.  …

I went there with high expectations, but the facility was undeniably old. It can't be helped because it was during the holidays, but the food, especially the breakfast, was disappointing considering the price was quite high. All the staff were kind and pleasant.

We have been in Tokashiki island for 5 days, as part of our Asian trip. Our stay at Hotel Kerama Terrace was the best experience that could have happened to us. Comfortable room, exceptionally kind attitude, incredibly delicious food... The hosts offered us many activities, the beach near the hotel is the most beautiful and have the best reef for snorkeling. Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was a true gourmet experience worthy of a Michelin star. Thank you dear people! Thank you for the special treatment! Thank you for the unforgettable memory you left in us! We will for sure see each other again, despite the huge distance that separates us! Greetings from distant Bulgaria!

Unfortunately this place was a huge disapointment and I really dont get how the reviews can be that good. Starting with the one good thing to say: The nearby beach is very nice! Apart from that: The whole hotel urgently needs a renovation, everything smells of muld and the rooms are the worst! Overpriced!!

We did a round trip to Japan and wanted to stay on Tokashiki for 5 days to enjoy nature and relax again. After arriving by ferry we were picked up from the hotel and driven to the hotel which is positive. The reception hall of the hotel was ok, only that it smelled damp.We were then asked to choose an odour oil, which I personally found strange. But after seeing the rooms we knew why, the rooms smelled extremely damp, the balcony is not usable. The bathroom is rusty. We then aired for 2 days continuously, but unfortunately that didn't help either. After 1 day we decided to leave and booked a new hotel on Naha.At this point we didn't care about the cost, but it has to be said that the hotel reimbursed us part of the cost. The island is beautiful, even if the place is absolutely basic and you should not expect much.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the hotel at all and I am surprised about the positive reviews. The food was ok, but you couldn't get seconds and it was cooked in Italian, which I find a pity in Japan as I would like to enjoy Japanese cuisine.
