2024.08There was a ferry cancellation, so I stayed for 4 nights. The inside of the village is unpaved, so you can't drag your suitcase along. Meanwhile, it was convenient because it was close to the terminal.There were about six rooms on the second floor, all Japanese-style rooms with a toilet. There are two communal showers, so you don't have to worry about sharing a shower with other people. Even though we were staying at a guesthouse on a remote island, we had a lot of food and it was delicious. There were days when I had cup noodles for lunch, so I was looking forward to dinner.There's no Wi-Fi, so on rainy days you'll have no choice but to watch TV in your room.Let's go to Tonaki Island again.

My family of 4, including my 3 and 5 year olds, stayed here for one night. The host is very kind.After arriving by ferry, as I was pushing my carry-on bag around the road to the hotel, the host saw me and pulled out the car. There is no transportation included, but it's a godsend.The dinner was for 2 adults, and although we didn't include children, the portions were quite large considering that. The tuna sashimi is also very filling.When I went to watch the sunset, a car pulled up on the roadside and asked, ``Do you want to bring lunch tomorrow?'' I was surprised to see that they even offer such a service.Now that I think about it, I don't think that was Mr. Muranaka...lolOn the way back, I left my carry-on bag at the hotel, and when I went to the hotel 30 minutes before the ship arrived, she said, ``I was nervous because I hadn't noticed the ship time.I went back and forth from the hotel to the terminal twice.''I'm so sorry. I thought it wasn't there, but when I looked at my phone, I saw several incoming calls and even an answering machine. ``The ship is coming soon, let's bring our luggage,'' he said.That's incredibly kind.There's more to tell, but it's getting long. It has become my number one remote island that I would like to visit again.
