The facilities may be old, but they were well maintained. The bathroom is quite clean. There weren't many people (it was almost reserved). You can do it very slowly. it's recommended.

Sasagaoka-so is located in a corner of Sasagaoka Park on top of a mountain across the Sayo River from Prefectural Route 368.Unfortunately, this place is not a hot spring according to the hot spring law, but it is said that the ``efficacy'' can be achieved through a special method. The first parking lot is at the top of the access road to Sasagaoka Park, and the second parking lot is behind it.After leaving the car in the parking lot, go to the building entrance. There is a restaurant on the right, and it seems like you can eat at a reasonable price. When you enter the entrance and go to your left, you will see the reception desk. The floor is carpeted, but you can walk up there with your shoes on. Pay the bathing fee of 500 yen at the reception and go down the stairs to the basement. At the bottom of the stairs is the bathroom, with a red curtain on the left and a blue curtain on the right. When you pass through the noren and enter the changing room, you will see changing baskets lined up.If you're staying overnight, you'll need to use a basket, but if you're on a day trip and have luggage, there are lockers that look like office lockers, so you can choose between one with a lock and one without. There are 4 wash basins and 3 free hair dryers. You can also use an electric fan, a massage chair for 100 yen for 10 minutes, and a multifunctional scale. There are 3 washing areas on the right and 5 washing areas on the left as you enter the bathroom, and showers, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. There is one bathtub, with a jacuzzi on the right and a jet bath on the left. Therefore, the sound of water is always flowing and the water is moving, making my body move and not resting. If you look closely at the inside of this bathtub, you will see a staircase and a gray stone with holes on the side. This is lava from Mt. Fuji, which was cut out and fitted into the bathtub.Since it is not a hot spring using the hot spring method, I cannot speak about the quality of the spring water, but the efficacy is said to be impressive, and one panel is said to be good for stiff shoulders, rheumatism, atopic dermatitis, etc.The water is about 41 degrees Celsius and the smell of chlorine is slight, but it's strong enough that you can tell it's there. Lava hot springs are also said to be effective in removing chlorine, and the water is circulated and disinfected with chlorine under the guidance of the public health center. You can't deny that it feels like a hot spring, but it doesn't smell like chlorine, and best of all, it's empty and reasonably priced! I think it's a good facility because it's well equipped!

We used the hot springs and restaurant.First of all, if you are coming for a day trip to the hot springs, you will have to pay 500 yen at the front desk to go to the hot springs. There was one large bathroom and about 10 washing areas. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. The surrounding area was quiet so I was able to relax.
