We used Hana to Hoshi Auto Campsite. The main purpose is to watch and photograph DeepSky in search of the dark night sky, and instead of camping, I sleep on an air mattress with the 2nd to 3rd rows of the minivan completely flat.Since it was the Saturday of the new moon, a stargazing event was held in Kuju Flower Park from dusk until around 8:30 p.m. Campsite users were able to participate for free, but from dusk onwards. 12P/Pons-Brooks (Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks) was visible in the low sky in the west until just before 8pm, so I decided to prioritize observing the comet and decided not to participate. When the crescent moon set and around 10pm, a dark night sky appeared that you can't experience in the city, and I connected my camera to an 8-inch astronomical telescope, which I had brought along with decent polar axis adjustment, to photograph nebulas and galaxies.Due to the high altitude, it was cold even with normal winter clothing in the city, and I expected it to be cold based on the warm daytime temperatures, but it turned out I was naive and ended up shivering in the cold as I watched.I was stationed far away from the toilet, so it was difficult to go to the bathroom.Next, I wanted to take this into consideration when deciding on a location.Apparently there was a disturbance last year, and strict instructions were given regarding how to handle fire.Reference equipmentTelescope: MEADE LX200-8 ACF f/10Camera: SONY α7sShooting conditions: ISO sensitivity 20000, shooting time 30 seconds x appropriate number of photos (excluding the moon)

A free auto campsite located almost right next to a very famous campsite.Because of the location, the view is outstanding.Access and convenience are good as Hana Park facilities and restaurants are adjacent. If you feel like it, you can go empty-handed.The price is reasonable, but the solo camping plan is a great deal.

I used it in mid-July and arrived excited at the scenic campsite after a scenic drive. It was a very hot day, and even though we were at a high altitude, the temperature during the day was close to 30 degrees Celsius, so when the sun was shining, we were sweating while setting up the tent. Sun protection is required. There are many places where grass remains after mowing and slopes, so if you want to set up in a good place, it's best to check in early. It would be nice if there were shower facilities at auto campgrounds, but if there are a lot of bugs and insects in the showers due to the lights, I don't think I can use them. There are many hot springs nearby. In the toilet at night, there were a lot of swarming insects and moths swarming around the lights, so it took a lot of courage to enter. There were a lot of horseflies and various insects flying around during the day. It would be good to have a large tent or tarp where you can stay under a mosquito net. The sunrise, sunset, and mountains were so beautiful. On days when the temperature is likely to rise, the wind was a bit cold in the morning, so we recommend leaving early before it gets too hot. It was very helpful to be able to throw away my trash in a designated place and go home. For better or worse, it was fun to be able to experience nature.

It was a little higher up than Boi Boi and the location was great.Since it was a weekday and the place was reserved, I had the slightly elevated center of the auto site all to myself.I enjoyed the feeling of freedom so much that I didn't want to go back the next day (lol)There are clean toilets at Hana Park 🅿 just outside the site, and you can use warm water to wash your dishes.I'm really grateful that I don't have to take my trash home with me.Solo rates are set, so I think this campground is a great value for solo campers. The cost performance is more than enough even without a shower.I would like to use it again!

I visited you in early April. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and although it rained during the middle of the day, we were able to see the mountains in the distance without anything obstructing our surroundings, so we were able to spend a pleasant time in a daze. The kitchen also had hot water, which was helpful.
