This is the first hot spring I went to when I first visited Kagoshima to visit hot springs. The fact that Tsurunoyu was the first one had such an impact. After all, it was only 300 yen, and once I entered the hot springs, as one would expect from Magma Prefecture, I could smell the rust of iron and the quality of the hot springs, giving it a sense of wildness that was the complete opposite of sophisticated. I was impressed. The open-air bath itself is wonderful, but I saw the inn where I would be staying tonight across the river, and I think it was a spectacular view that I rarely get to experience (it's funny how many people have posted images from the same place on Google Maps 😄).There are many hot springs in Japan from north-central to southern Japan, and I highly recommend anyone who calls themselves a hot spring lover to visit them at least once.

As you go down the stairs, you will see a hot spring flowing directly through the air. The temperature is whitish, probably because it contains a lot of iron. Looks great on the skin. No lotion needed. There was something lumpy on the edge of the bathroom, and at first I thought it was dirty, but it turned out to be the components of the hot water that had accumulated over the years. I noticed that there was something that looked like coral attached to it. You can feel that the water is truly rich in ingredients.Anraku Onsen and Myoken Onsen seem to have similar ingredients. It felt a little deserted, but all the regulars had smooth skin, so you could immediately see the effects of the hot springs.

It is evaluated as a drop-in bath.・The open-air bath (men's bath only?) has a great view overlooking the river!・The water is hot・There is a cold bath which is good.・It's a pity that the sauna is still broken.・Feel cramped with 4 to 5 people・Above all, it is cheap

Quality of hot water, amount of hot water, and temperature of hot waterwonderful. Slightly cloudy and has a strong scent1 indoor bath, 1 outdoor bathThe outdoor bath is in contact with the river surface, and a considerable amount of hot water flows out into the river.Parking lots are distributedYou will be crossing a busy roadI paid close attention to that point.Accommodation possible and self-catering hot spring therapy styleIf you want to take a bath in this hot spring as many times as you want a day, it might be possible to stay overnight.
