Extremely disappointing.Most 4 or 5 stars reviews are fake.We booked because it said private pool ( only if you want too share with 7 other rooms) .No privacy at all from other rooms , and can everything.Bathroom was dirty and smelt of raw Sewage , no hot water for huge bath, comes on for about 1 minute.Only good thing was Fantastic view.Breakfast is basic, heard drums and bells ringing from local temple until 1am.No shopping or food outlets nearby.Probably perfect for back packers or someone wanting cheap accommodation.If you want peace and quiet with abit of Luxury, # Do not stay here..!!

We went for a night and book this place for the floating breakfast experience, it was really beautiful view the pool is small but enough it’s only 4 seats but it’s ok , lot of stairs so if you have problem with legs or cardio maybe ask for the room upstairs. This place provides breakfast lunch dinner (all rooms included breakfast and u have to pay only 20k rupiah extra to be served in the pool what is really worthy :) ) the lunch dinner menu is very limited but u would find something to eat . The rooms are nice but it should do an update specially the bathroom area , the provide towers both for pool and room also soap shampoo shower toothbrush toothpaste. Unfortunately the bathroom was a bit dirty but it’s maybe cuz old as well and the shower was blocked so the water sticker there but I think they fixed next day .The receptionist a girl I forgot her name start with an N she was really nice and helpful but I’m sure everyone work hard :) I would recommend this hotel for the spectacular view and breakfast experience for a night or two but not for longer stay !

We have been there for two night. We arrived around 9:30 to the airport and we had Bomo waiting for us. He was very nice nice with us and during the Transfer he was telling us a bit about their culture. We have really enjoyed the ride with him.When we arrived to the hotel they received us very well, we register for next day breakfast and everything was great.The room had increíble views to the jungle, the swimming pool was one of the BEST things from the Villa. There was a bit of humidity but this is part of the enviroment. The room could be more clean but It was not a big deal. You could not hear any noise at night time just the nature and the animals that life around and algo the little waterfall.Novi was very nice with us explaining us how everything work and all the services they provide. We enjoy an hour massage in there and was really relaxing. We also book a motorbike with them an move around Ubud with to discovery new places.Definetly, I will recomend this place for someone who wants to be away of the crowed of Ubud.

I do not recommend this location to anyone!I've been in Bali for 5 months so far, but this is the only location I regret going to!Bad people, the staff behaves badly, they treat you with indifference, they are not in the mood for work at all, and they also have a fake smile on their face!What should I start with?The room was by no means 40 m as it was written on the booking, on the booking all the pictures were edited and photoshopped, the bathtub was dirty from the inside and dirty, the sink was clogged, I stayed like that for 2 days, full of water... there was no hot water, untidy swimming pool, full of dust on the edges, also on the windowsill full of dust ... on the floor in the room mess ...But what put a cap on everything is the fact that I paid for the room with breakfast but did not receive breakfast! On the grounds that I arrived at the table at 10:30 and they said they closed at 10 - which was clearly a lie. The lady at the reception went into the kitchen to give them my order but the "so-called cooks" said they didn't feel like doing it anymore... that they closed 😡From the bottom where they gave us the room to the top of the restaurant there are many steps and I did at least 5 minutes, I explained to the lady at the reception that I ordered the food the night before, they even gave me a sheet to fill in what I wanted and I also specified 10 o'clock. So normally it was 10 o'clock I already have breakfast on the table considering I paid for it! But they simply didn't want to give it to us, even though I explained that I have small children who are hungry and the location being very far from civilization, I had nowhere to give them food...The night before when we went to order dinner we arrived at 19 without 10 and they also told us that it is closed ... that it opens at 19 ... ok we went back to the room and came back at 19 after which we waited another 20 min until he takes our order.That's it, but a shame about the location with such employees, maybe the owner is not to blame, but the people you work with can lift you up or bankrupt your business.

The people who are working in here are so nice, the place is amazing with views to the jungle. No sounds during the night apart from animals. Love this place and the people working in here. Than you guys our stay was very comfortable

Pros: Nice swimming pool, structure surrounded by greenery.Cons: Very reviewable room. Very damp, mold on all fabrics (except the bed) and in various places on the walls. The swimming pool is turned off a few hours after dawn, which is a shame because it is the only great advantage of the structure. (The pool is in the shade after midday.) Fairly absent staff. The scooter rental service would be excellent and economical if they didn't try to make you pay for damages that were already present before use.Next to the structure there is a large temple. They pray with loudspeakers at any time of the day or night. Nothing bad, of course, but maybe being warned earlier would have saved us from waking up at 3 in the morning thinking we were under attack.Last thing: the restaurant didn't have rice and therefore couldn't prepare any typical dish. Without rice. In Bali.

BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS AND UNRELIABLE BOOKINGS (SHORT NOTICE CANCELLATION)We booked this place after lots of research during high season in Bali.Two days before our planned arrival, we were told we couldn’t stay there due to noise from a month long ceremony nearby (isn’t this something you would’ve known in advance?).The manager attempted to move us to significantly downgraded accomodations from the same JJ group, which weren’t comparable at all. It felt like they never planned to have us stay at Doni House in the first place.I have researched this manager’s listings and noticed that many of them indicated dodgy reviews and cancellations/moving people to other listings within their group.Beware of fake reviews by the manager and employees of the JJ group. If you look more closely at these lovely reviews, at least 3 or 4, if not more of them, are FAKE to get good ratings.In summary: Extremely unreliable host, short notice cancellation, stay away, and don’t trust their reviews..
