You'll feel like you've traveled back in time to a foreign country in the late 19th century! !I was simply moved by the worldview that was created so perfectly that it felt strange to be in an air conditioner.Being able to rent out a whole house for the night is very attractive, so next time I'd like to stay overnight.Perhaps due to bad timing, I couldn't get through on the phone. However, once we were connected, all the staff were very good at answering the phone and serving customers in the village.thank you very much!

2024.10 While touring, I saw an unusual building, so I asked him to take a photo of it from the outside. A facility with a nice atmosphere amidst greenery 👍☺️

I have always been interested in the unimaginable worldview of the British landscape spread out in the mountains of Kameoka. When I actually visited there, I was able to experience scenery that was not in Japan in the clean mountain air, and it was fun and unusual. It didn't have a shiny, clean, organized atmosphere like a theme park, but it had a desolate feel, but it had a unique worldview. However, I was confused on many points, so please refer to the following.1. I couldn't find any guides along the way, so I felt a little uneasy on the way (that kind of surprise performance?!)2. To eat, you have to decide on the menu when you enter the entrance.I went there without knowing what the menu was, but it was hard to understand at first glance, and there were people waiting in the back, so I couldn't take my time to choose.I guess it was the same for other people as it took a long time to get through the entrance and there was a traffic jam.3. Afternoon tea serving style is strangeI waited outside for a long time to enter the restaurant, waited a long time for my food to come out, and the all-important tea never came out, and I didn't know if I would choose it or if it would come out on its own...When the food for one person finally came out, the tea still hadn't come out, and after a while the staff started going around the seats one by one with a teapot in hand and I was like, ``Is that what you mean?!''It seems like they prepare different kinds of tea several times at different times, and it's nice to be able to enjoy different flavors, but they never come! There have been many times when I thought I had finally arrived, but the other seats ran out of tea. There seemed to be less staff, and the intervals between tea servings were too long, making the waiting time for tea long and stressful. It would be hard to eat dry British food like scones, pie, and fish and chips without water, and the staff seemed to have their hands full, so I would like each person to have their own pot of the first dish.4. There is a long lag in the time when food is served to those in attendance. Two people ordered an afternoon tea set with slightly different contents, but it took quite a while from the first person's food to the second person's food. (The person sitting next to me seemed to be doing the same thing, and after a long wait, the staff member pointed to the tea set for one person that had been provided earlier and asked, ``Does this mean it's for two people?'' Ta)5.The chapel and accommodation cottages can only be visited by guests staying at the hotel.I had glanced at information about the chapel online and thought I would be able to see it in person, so I was disappointed that I couldn't even see the outside.

I stayed here for the first time with two friends. They provided detailed information on everything from guiding us around the village to how to use the rooms and explaining the meals. Before the staff left at 8pm, they came to check on us once and we were able to stay with peace of mind. All the staff were kind and it was a warm place.I'm not a fan of insects, but the room was very clean and there was insect repellent spray so it wasn't a problem. There were a lot of different creatures there, so I was able to have some extraordinary experiences, and I had a very fulfilling two days there. thank you very much.

It doesn't feel like a relaxing or rural area, but rather an abandoned place with no motivation. As I looked around, I wondered if it was good when it was completed. (It's not big enough to go around, and there's not much to see.)I paid to go in, but it was no different from the free one outside, and I felt like it was a waste. It seems like it's free if you go to a restaurant or something, but everyone seems to be unmotivated and it's a little weird.Looking at the responses to the reviews, I got the impression that this is not the case.

When I was in Kameoka City doing some business, my partner seemed interested in the building as I passed by, so I stopped by.I didn't have much time to stay, so I just had a quick look inside, but 15 minutes passed, so I had to pay 1000 yen for parking. The staff seems unmotivated and the products are expensive, so unless you have a specific purpose in mind, this is a place that is far from recommended for customers. It would be different if you paid the entrance fee and went to the accommodation, but that was my impression.
