I visited Chusonji and Motsuji for the first time while traveling with my dog. When I searched for "Oshu dog inn" to find a dog-friendly inn, this was the only one I found in the Chusonji area. When I arrived, I was surprised. There is a large hall that looks like an inn, and it is a large and sturdy building that you wouldn't think of as a guesthouse. Apparently, the landlady is the second generation.Even though it's a historic inn, it doesn't feel old or musty, and the rooms and bathrooms are all very clean.Above all, the quality of the food is excellent. I didn't expect to be able to enjoy such heartfelt homemade food with the elegant flavors of a ryokan, made with careful handwork. I was betrayed in a good way.As it claims to be a farmhouse guesthouse, most of the vegetables used in the dishes are grown by the proprietress and seasoned with natural salt, and the taste is incomparable to the ones found in supermarkets. The landlady owns a dog, so she seems to be very understanding of guests with dogs. The tables on either side of me while I was eating were also customers with dogs; one group was from Kobe and had been coming here for 20 years, and the other was from Tokyo and had been coming here for 15 years. It seems like the proprietress has fans all over the country. is.To be honest, I was a little worried because I saw some negative comments in the reviews, but my fears turned out to be unfounded. I think it's probably harassment from a peer or a lower-level complainer. You won't be charged extra for a morning shower, and you won't be forced to turn off the front door lights when you leave. There is no need to worry as we have the latest SHARP air conditioner and Daikin air purifier. Since it's summer, the futons are naturally thin, but in winter they have thicker ones. Don't worry everyone. For those traveling with dogs, finding such a relaxing inn with a friendly and kind hostess is a great help.I'm sure I'll visit again.

Many unwritten but only verbally explained rules, such as the hour of shower time for different genders, and where each gender need to put there slippers, etc.4 shower heads in the bathroom while 2 of them not working properly. No coffee for breakfast(only coffee jelly).Slightly overpriced considering the condition of the room and the location.

When eating peanuts in your room, be careful not to spill the food.My wife complains lolIf you take a shower in the morning, your wife will charge you an additional fee lolIt's not a prohibition at the hotel, but will the bathroom cleaning time be delayed? LOL That's right. You will be forced to lock the door and turn off the lights when leaving. It's not a room, it's a "front door"I don't know lolAccommodation during winter is not recommendedOnly a small fan heater keeps you warm. The futon is also thin. The rice will still be served, so it is recommended for those who want to become sumo wrestlers. You're too friendly, are you a stranger? It's an inn that you'll want to say, but the hostess doesn't care and doesn't care, so if you have the patience, please stay here lol

Anyway, the landlady is wonderful. She accommodated my sudden accommodation reservation and even chatted with me even though she was busy. When I go to Tohoku, I'll stay there even if I don't go to Chusonji!
